so little is said yet the emotions these characters portray to us through expressions, posture, and framing are extraordinary. the way they look at eachother kills me
Took me till now to realize that the song that plays in the scene is the same song that played when we first meet Kim and they share the smoke. Brilliance.
People saying that he should’ve taken the 7 years don’t realize that he was going to. It wasn’t until he found out that Kim confessed the truth about Howard that Saul decided he was going to confess too. He wanted to free himself of guilt as well as free Kim’s guilt so she could get her life back together. It was his sacrifice that put her back on track. Perfect ending to a perfect show.
Lalo - im not worried about jimmy he’s a coocharacha a survivor. And he’s the only one who survived pretty much Gus is dead so is Mike and everyone else
probably better than being sad and alone fir the rest of his lufe on top of cobstantly looking behind his back and resisting the urge to turn a scheme, an urge he inevitably succumbed to. Jimmy's better off in a prison with his peers who all respect him for his work.
@@acarroll6842he just had to spend 7 years but no no no, he'd rather play the righteous truth abiding responsible statue of honesty, the op is right, this is gonna feel like a curse after 2-5 years, as for you, after he had done 7 years he'd be a free man, so no running or looking behind, back to normal life, and as we all know, he wouldn't have to be a lawyer to get rich, he can still be a conman and play safe this time
@@Sunshine78329 Yeah but he finally realized he wasn't Saul, or Gene. He was Jimmy. He didn't want to get away with it, he wanted to atone for all the misery he had a hand in pre/post Walt. This was that path for him. Back to square one, doing it in an honest way like he was in episode 1 season 1, before he gets tempted to turn into slippin' jimmy to make ends meet because his brother is stretching him thin. He knew, that had he just spent 7 years in prison, Jimmy would be gone for good. And Kimmy reminded him of Jimmy.
@@acarroll6842 yeh yeh square one but what for? He gonna die in that hole, total waste of his potential, you don't need to torture yourself in order to atone, salvation lies within, he could also make atone by doing good law now, like elder law, that free law kim used to do, there are a ton of roads he could have chosen to start his "REAL" goodman journey but he chose that hole, I say poor choice
As much as I enjoy the concept of Jimmy taking 86 year sentence to "redeem himself" in the eyes of Kim, it's still ridiculous. Kim obviously wants him free. Court isn't some church for redemption. Jimmy wouldn't do that and neither would normal people do that. To make sense of this, I'd like to think he has another trick up his sleeve to have his 86 year sentence eliminated off-screen.
I love that now we have the luxury of imagining how he'd do it. Kim helping out somehow, Jimmy finding a legal loophole, Oakley doing some research, etc
Saul is in jail, but jimmy is free. This is the best way to describe this situation, and ironically jimmy feels more free in prison than outside. He is finally at peace with himself and both him and Kim recognize that. It’s not about just “redeeming himself”.
@@pkboolean right...being in prison without sex with women, being around violent criminals with rapists around you, no good food, having the love of your life being banged each night by Mr. Yup, and no traveling is so much better than living on the outside. 😂👍
nah. people keep on saying that jimmy would regret it. that’s the point 💀 after years of slipping and criminality, he doesn’t deserve to stay free. but at the same time, he isn’t truly a bad person. so he doesn’t deserve death. he just needs to repent and suffer whilst understanding and facing his consequences
