I don't even want to talk about the Amazon show. At least the games have the essence of The Silmarillion. I've started reading The Silmarillion, and I'm already in love with Mairon and Melkor.

Steve Blum is the perfect example of how I’d imagine Sauron would sound like. Reading the Silmarillion was amazing and Mairon/Sauron is my favourite. Whenever he had dialogue within the Silmarillion-it was narrated in my head by the voice of Steve Blum-who is the VA for Sauron in the games. Fucking amazing. Truly the best for Sauron. Steve nails the hypnotic-snaky-fair-and-too-good-to-be-true tone and voice of Sauron.

He was the perfect choice for the role. I really wish that they would make an animated series of The Silmarillion...

I know... I am so disappointed in their casting choice. I might just make a Celibrimbor video soon using an actor that I'd prefer TBH

@@kafkaism35 Cast was horrible, series/plot even worse, hollywood destroys everything they touch, where are guys who made original lotr, gladiator, troy, king arthur... they didn't had such advanced technology but from casting to special effects to plot everything was so much better

I legit could not stomach more than 16 minutes of the first episode. It was fucking agony. Tolkien is without a doubt being comforted by Christ for what is being done to his life work. Christ better not forgive such crimes!

I want you to know that this video would almost get me to buy the game if I didn’t know how hard you worked to make these scenes legitimately look good. That being said you should also know that you’ve given more emotional depth to these characters than anything I’ve seen thus far and that’s a feat. Fantastically done, absolutely my favorite video yet.

That show lowered the bar so much… I have no idea how it’s appealed to so many people. I was so disappointed in who they chose as Sauron…

Poor celebrimbor . The fate of Feanor and his family carried on in his generation . Blinded by Passion and ambition and ego . Their Art missused first the silmirarils and then the Rings of power by Morgoth and Sauron .
