Just washed my Hilux today and all the pinstripes from this winter driving through Christmas tree lined forests are out of control, will need a good polish as part of this year's summer maintenance.
I used to always look after the paint, but nowadays like you said, not much left anymore. So really wasn't looking after it like i thought. I've learned my lesson for if i get a new one again. Thought about a repaint but then a wrap might cover the old paint and hold up better, until i peel it off on a bush. 👍
Great looking finish, totally agree with the idea of pre-trip prep. Claybar every now an then adds another level to that shine :).. Good test is drag a tissue over the paint.
