This is a continuation of Mob Grazing WITH GOATS series, part IV. To reduce the fatigue on my body from driving so many T-posts, I have built my own DIY electric T-Post driver. I choose not to use a gas T-Post driver, to reduce on pollution, and this DIY project is the perfect fit!

Gotta have the pipe straight up and down, turn your heat up put a water house running at he bottom, works on ground rods

Hammer drill with a 3/4” x 24” masonry bit, drill a pilot hole before you drive the post.

Wet the ground near the pole position prior to hammering it.

just saw a add for a $3500+ tpost driver, first thing that came up was this DIY video when I googled.

the side to side weld is not the best option. Try to cut the hammer bit shorter and weld the cut end to the driver plate in-line. This will allow the energy to be transferred from the jack hammer to the post along a much more efficient path.

@@kdak247 I'm curious to see it. Based on my experience so far, the mobile gate set up has been the best option so far for rotational grazing. I'm thinking of some interesting improvements as well. Feel free to email me at the address listed on my channel page (I think it's available there).
