Another beautiful pond! Love the detail work. I notice y'all always have some underlayment cloth tied around your tamper. Does that really help keep clay from sticking to it?

Yes it really helps so much! Without the underlayment, it literally starts sticking after 1 or 2 tamps.

Yes it does! Especially with our orange clay, or even gumbo clay we have had wonderful luck with underlayment or preferably rock pad tied around them to help with sticking!

How are you able to add that many fish back into a newly built pond? Is the homeowner doing ammonia tests every few hours?

I was thinking the same thing. This is the first time in over five years of watching your team build ponds/waterfalls that I've seen exposed liner and no rock walls around the first shelf of the pond. please tell me you're not done. That is what impressed me about natural pond builds. no visible liner.

Very inquisitive! This particular project we were under very strict terms with the homeowner to not have rocked walls or we definitely would’ve! Sometimes we just have to bite our tongues and deliver what is asked vs what we think is best! 🐸
