Thankyou for sharing the idea of restoring shot gun homes.. how beautiful they will be !! Whatever it takes.. and I don’t know the process it involves but if we don’t restore some of history it will be gone 🎉hooray for you and others who value these properties
Amazing! I'd love to save the historic wood frames in my neighborhood Coconut Grove, Miami. They're tearing them down and building ugly big white houses with zero personality :(
It is a wonder, and they can't stand up on their own. Every historic building we value across the world is still standing because someone cared enough to maintain or restore it!
@@AdvInPreservation I bought a rundown shotgun in atlanta. Everyone laughed at me. I completely restored it. Added an extra room up in the attic, refinished the original heart of pine floors, etc. The house I bought for 40k is now worth 560k and the entire street is one of the hottest areas of atlanta.
