The day Pat Mahomes signed his rookie contract, he did an autograph signing at a T-bones (minor league baseball team in KC) game. I had two footballs I bought for my kids when we visited the Hall of Fame in Canton a year earlier that he signed (I have a picture with each kid) and he and the guy with him noticed they were from the HOF. We have since had a third kid so I hope to get something for him as well at some point...
It's always amazing getting stuff signed by future All-Time greats when they haven't played yet, are rookies, or in College etc. Giannis signed a basketball and my shoes for me when he was a rookie and me and my dad were sitting only a row behind the bench(really miss those cheap prices when the Bucks were awful lol.) One of my buddies offered me a grand for the basketball a couple years back. Declined because I also wanna pass them off to my kid 1 day

This is my all-time favorite podcast. Yes! That's why I love hockey, it's a community. Also when the players win it they hold it up first before the owners do unlike the NFL who let the owners hold it up first before those who worked hard to win it. Edit: Yay! I grew up in KC and remember the KC Scouts hockey team. I love hockey and would love a new team in my hometown! Our arena is near downtown, too, and would be great for aerial photos. Trav, Let's start a petition to show the NHL how much interest in hockey there is in KC.
