That was so good. I've never hit legend rank and it's things like spotting the way the opponent played loads of minions after the Netherspite meaning he probably had a Deathwing. Great play.
Because the player who went first didn't do anything to deserve it. The player who gets the coin is at a disadvantage because he's going second and if he manages to save the coin until the end of the game and win, he should be the only one to get a bonus.
hey savjz i followed your stream the day u played this game and u changed the decklist a lot, can u upload or just tell me which is the better version?
Misplay at 9:11? Could've totemed first, got spell damage and then killed the operative instead of the 5/4, that way the priest can't trade and still have a minion
it usually heals to full with ED, making it amazing for longer games but sylv is probably better in the current meta, except Hallazeal is probably better against rouge with games ending on turn 9-10
I think technically, your turn and your opponents turn are seperate turns, therefore the opponents turn was techinically the second turn the dirty rat was played, and therefore active.
i really don't get the brann dirty rat play. even if it brought out deathwing you still have no way to deal with the 12/12, and you risk losing brann without getting to play the jade claws. and since you're out of cards, if he has any way to deal with your thing from below and last jade golem, you just lose to lesser heal. holding the brann would have given you better chances even after deathwing's battlecry, since you'd be able to play a 2/4, an 8/8, a 9/9, and a 5/5 taunt all on the same turn while he's out of cards and just has a 12/12 on board. even intuitively, brann + jade claws is such a better combo than brann + dirty rat. and that's also ignoring the chance that dirty rat summons everything except deathwing, which is exactly what happened lol. so deathwing ends up killing your dirty rat and your brann, which effectively kills your 9/9 preemptively since you can't double the jade claws battlecry
Brann + Dirty rat is only 5 mana. If the DR pulled DW, he would have likely played the jade claws in the same turn to summon an 8/8 or 9/9, then with what was on board, white eyes, and his TfB still in the deck, he was going to be able to deal with the rest of his opponents deck.
If he pulled out Deathwing he could just spawn the 8/8 and 9/9 jades on the spot. Considering the rest of his deck were basically taunts, he could just out SMOrc the opponent
If Dirty Rat pulled Deathwing, he would've just dropped Jade Claws for an 8/8 and 9/9 into a board state where he was already ahead. The biggest problem would've been if it pulled a Ysera and Deathwing was still in hand, he might've countered himself there. But he knew there was a discovered Dragon unplayed for a long time. He was very far ahead, and when you're that far ahead... you can afford to play around obscure outs.
