👍👍👍 I could not agree more. Savotta makes awesome packs. I've had my Jääkäri S a couple of months now. Got it with the accessory 4L Side Pouches (2) and couldn't be happier. Yes, on the basic pack, no 'bells and whistles' .. less to break and go wrong. One can customise and add whatever afterwards to suit. A good share .. thanks. Take care ..
Do you find the rolltop on the XL to be a pain for packing and finding stuff inside it? I have the s, m and L, and the latter is already tedious in regards to that issue. I can imagine that the XL would be even worse. Sadly they don't make the LJK modular anymore
Thank you for your comment 😊. The lover compartment on the Xl holds a ton of stuff so I have never maxed out the backpack but I do agree that the rolltop system can be a pain when “overpacking”. Tend to easily get a bit bulky. The XL is in my opinion a fantastic backpack. Has the outer sleeve pockets as the medium and I miss them on the L
I always use mine for day trips, my favourite small backpack. But make sure to find a pad or a cushion for the back…. There are no padding in the backpack itself 😊 happy birthday hope you will get the backpack Best Lars
@@zufuss Thank you! I was actually hoping to get the same mat you were to use it the same way. If that fails I can always get the pads Savotta has. I was planning on using mine for overnight camping. Come in the afternoon/evening. Pitch up tent and relax. Come morning pack up head home. I've always been an outdoor person but life has had me chained at home since... idk 4 years now? So this bag and all the gear my family has is going to be a great jumping point to get back into it. Best Regards in Return TheWrathfulBadger
Thank you for your comment 😊👍🏻 what will be your use? For Day hike the small is great IMO, but if you want to carry a bit more gear and want to bring sleeping gear for an overnighter, the medium is better. It has way better support with sternum strap and waist belt also… but don’t expect you will fit a 3 person tent and a big winter sleeping bag and a double sleeping pad and a turkey for dinner inside of the medium 😜. I will make a review of the medium in nearby future 👍🏻 Best Lars
Will the waterproof coating in the inside of the Savotta backpack flake off after many years of use? What are your thoughts on the waterproof coating in it? :) Thanks!
Thank you for your question. I honestly don’t know if it will flake over time. But quality seems very good so I think it will last for many years. Best Lars
Hi man, i dont think so. I have had it about 3years. i have sold it because i dont use a molle an its little bit overbuild for me :D But yes its bulletproof. Im looking around lunfhags gneik. :-)
Thank you for your comment mate 👍🏻 the Hatka is a very nice little pack… I will put up a review with its pros and cons based on my experience in near future. Have a great day 😊 Best Lars
@@thomasmusso1147 taste of Music will always be subjective… I like many genres from Punk rock, to heavy metal, some black metal, some Rap like ice cube to country like Johnny Cash…. But mainstream pop will never be found in my music collection 😊. Thank you for your comment and yes the garden song is pretty funny 😂👍🏻. Have a great weekend 👍🏻 Lars
@@zufuss Yep .. mainstream pop (with some rare exceptions) .. candy floss. I'm a child of the 60's and 70's mostly. Have recently been re-listening to Emerson Lake and Palmer, Greatest Show on Earth, Jethro Tull, AC DC, Metallica .. and of course, The Beatles.
