A friend gave me a few sticks of rhubarb and I had no idea what to do with them as I’d never cooked with rhubarb before. Wanted to try something other than a crumble and came across this recipe. I added butternut cubes and a tin of drained chickpeas for more protein and nutrients and a few cardamom pods… hands down the BEST curry I’ve ever made! Thanks for the inspiration! 😎🤙🏼
Thanks, we have a lot of rhubarb in Minnesota which we use for desserts. I just went to search for savory recipes, and yours came up first, so will give this a try! My daughter in law is from Sri Lanka and makes lentil dishes all the time. The rhubarb is at her home, so sent this to her, she will be thrilled to try it!
Just came across your channel when searching for rhubarb savory recipe. I am not big on coconut milk in curry (maybe if I'm growing coconuts). Thanks for the recipe, will definitely try this.
😮 Did anyone else gawk when he wiped his nose, then shoved back his hair then reached for the greens without a break (HANDWASH BREAK OBVS ! ) then he friggin coughed … I kid you not!
It's not a good look, you're right. But it's really not as big a deal as you're making out. It's not the way you'd hope someone would behave in a commercial kitchen, but nobody's going to come to any harm from something like that. Not something to lose your mind over.
