I love the character Mark Hoffman. This fictional character is unpredictable and always 10 steps ahead of his opponents. And Costas Mandylor is a very great actor. ❤ He played in Navy CIS Season 11 in Episode 1 and Episode 2. And in German, it was the same voice of Mark Hoffman. I like the German voice (THOMAS NERO WOLF).
It's no surprise that Hofmanator is back! But I'm always happy when it's official. Btw, this is Chris from The Jigsaw Files channel, I commented the other day, but this is my personal account lol. And I have been begging for an apprentice focused movie. Show that rivalry, show them learning how to build traps, show what it MEANS to be an accomplice to Jigsaw. And also, I've been petitioning to the ones in charge about bringing Kerry back and Dina Meyer shared my post and it seems like she is game to do it!
Fan service here’s my pitch (Amanda alive) and Kerry comes back it’s revealed that Kerry escaped her trap in a smart way like she tricked it with acid or something and Amanda didn’t see her die but saw Kerry and then she hallucinated and heard screams and assumed Kerry fate as a dream like Adam where it cuts to black but Kerry because she had no love or affection for Kerry she assumed the most gruesome fate and because she worked with Strahm he kept her fate a secret and she worked with surprise witness Adam to take John, Amanda and Hoffman where Adam more vengeful and he supplied the note but got the intel from Kerry who wanted to get them arrested and now Saw 12 Amanda ends up surviving by Dr Gordan who rescued her and Amanda been completely depressed and hit rock bottom so Saw 12 Kerry alive to hunt down Amanda/Dr Gordan while Hoffman tries to kill them Adam and Kerry have back and forth with Amanda who finds them the hardest to face. Gordon and Hoffman fight trap to trap while Kerry on the case solving it but Adam and Kerry also get captured but Kerry escapes and figures out Adam involvement and Amanda kidnaps her and Adam making them play games personal to them but there’s no harmful aspects as Amanda struggles due to her close bond to Adam and her difficulty with Kerry being a good cop who wants to help as she also wants Hoffman and the police corruption gone. Amanda lets them go and they go and save Gordon Hoffman dies in a massive way Gordan and Adam have a heart to heart before Gordan perishes from his wounds just then they turn to find Amanda has escaped leaving it open for sequels with Adam and Kerry (the arguable best but most underused characters with the most potential with the brains wits grit and likeable personality Kerry and Adam had a lot of potential fighting Amanda the most complex villain who was underused but needed to be explored more like John Kramer) but this is complete fan service lol what’s everyone else’s.
#1 thing I love about Horror Sauce is their easy-going, friends at a party, dark humor. Each video gets at least 6-7 giggles outta me every single time 😂
I wouldn't be surprised if more cast members come back. They saw how much people loved Saw 10 and this renewed energy and interest in the series. I remember reading somewhere that the actor who played Rigg was really interested in coming back to the series.
Just wanna say I stumbled across your chancel about a month after Saw X released and until last week I genuinely thought this was a channel with +400k subs. You guys are honestly killing it, keep it up!
I’m hoping that they make the upcoming movies in a way that makes it kind of like a leading up to when Detective Matthews gets pulled into the mix, because it ties it all up in a nice little knot.
People like to use the following reasons to hate on Hoffman… 1) He wins “too much.” 2) They think he’s generic/bland or claim he has no character. 3) They’re butthurt that John Kramer and Amanda were taken out “too early” in the saga. They also pull the “He’s not John Kramer” card with this. 4) They overreact to him killing Jill, often ignoring that she tried to kill him first. Often they’ll act like it was John’s intent to kill Hoffman with the RBT, despite there being no evidence of that. 5) They claim he was too much like “a typical slasher villian.” These are the five I see the most. I disagree with all of them. Also, some like to claim Hoffman framed Amanda with inescapable traps, but that is contradicted by Amanda admitting to rigging them, which she does admit to at the end of Saw 3. It’s all silly claims to me, dude’s my favorite character in the series, easily.
Guess who’s back? Back again? Costas is back! Tell a friend! As for Tobin, I pretty much assumed he was returning given how fast Saw 11 was announced, my guess is they still have plans for John Kramer and want to get it done while Tobin is still kicking.

As a jigsaw apprentice at this point and going by Saw X Hoffman clearly enjoys working so close and yet so confidently with/ against the authorities. I can’t wait to see this latest saw film and hope it ages well and brings closure to my initial view that he was a weird apprentice reveal at the end of Saw IV. At the very least I really didn’t think his reveal of being in the trap all along worked quite as well as the initial reveal in Saw with John, Adam and Dr. Gordon lol. I hope to rewatch his first appearance after watching Saw XI and almost owe Hoffman an apology that I underestimated him. Maybe we will see him alive after Saw 3D? The actor looks like he grows his beard outside of filming so why couldn’t Hoffman escape 😄 Horror Sauce is so 🔥 I ♥️ how you’re keeping me so up to date with Saw! The thing the Saw filmmakers need to work on now though is that the Saw community is smart. Like I’ve commented before, I remember ages before saw 3D canonically revealed Dr. Gordon to be Johns apprentice there were early RU-vid videos around 2009 almost hinting that he was an apprentice but it was just a theory due to Jigsaw limping in one of his videos for the Venus Flytrap Game at the start of probably my favourite saw movie, Saw II 🥤😊🍿
I wish they went back to the old school marketing approach where they would fake out fans/viewers. But I guess since Saw is not in it's heyday anymore they actually are being honest now. With maybe a few surprises like cameos from the many detectives from the original films. Sources confirmed that the producers already had the ideas for Saw X and the coming Saw films before Spiral was released. But they decided to experiment when Chris Rock who apparently was a big Saw fan had proposed an idea. Obviously it was a big mistake. The only thing it had going for it was bringing Lynn Bousman back and the teasing Tobin Bell would return. After wasting money on the film opening night with only 2 other people in the theater Lynn Bousman sold out, which was disappointing. I am assuming he did it so he could add to his resume that he worked with Rock and Jackson...also Samuel L. Jackson does not do films like Saw and his demanding salary is more than the Saw budgets. It still couldn't put people in the seats. It should've just been a Chris Rock Horror film, though it doesn't even stand as a standalone horror film. It could've been promoted as 'from the producers of Saw' and/or 'from the director of Saw 2,3,4'...lessoned learned! And yes no surprises with confirmation about Mandylor, Bell, Greutert while Mandylor was possibly drunk posting. I mean lets face it as it had been confirmed that alot of former actors from the series want to be involved, alot of their careers ended with Saw (besides Whalberg and Elwes finally got back in big budget films). I think Flannery's interview about Saw 7 said it all when he was cursing about how he was going to act in Saw 7 without even knowing about the script or story against his agents/managers wishes. I hope they get rid of Pederson quickly. And go the similar route they did with Saw X that it was more character driven. This is just my opinion and most probably won't like but I'd rather see more of Hoffman's law enforcement involvement with the other police officers in the original Saw films more so a bromance relationship with John Kramer. This would allow for other police officers to return in bigger roles and how he was able to live a double life. And as stated in other vids the ending will probably lead us into a Saw 7 sequel. I just hope Pederson doesn't get a bunch of screen time and I think the mid credit scene with Hoffman from Saw X was a good 'ending'. Though so many people did not even get to see the scene as they had already left the theater. I have over 30k views from posting the 'post credit' scene on TikTok and was shocked with the responses from so many people saying they didn't see that scene. Anyways...cheers!

if you like Saw and Costas so much I'd highly recommend checking out Death Count it's like Saw but the mastermind lets youtube viewers decided who and how people die i think he mentions something towards the end about Saw but i could be wrong
I not gloating but after hearing the departure of the previous writers the last few movies that it only made sense for the writers of Saw 4-7 to come back.
Augh, I hate Hoffman .... (okay, actually, at this point I hate all of them, including John after Saw X.) But Hoffman had too many movies already. He was like a twist ending character that should have died in the next movie ... instead, he was the center of 4! And way too flat. Just a juggernaut bent on revenge & torture. He didn't even feel clever enough to pull off what he did. it'd be way better to have a movie with Dr. Gordon (in a less comical way), or William (hey, I think he was a realistic guy with decent motivations!). It will be good at least finishing the story of X and conclude Cecilia's game. At this point though, they're all looking too old for this role. A reboot would suck, yet it seems like it's the best thing.
