I have noticed the same thing. Even with RU-vid makeup gurus - Fenty has become a staple in people's makeup collection but I never hear of people having Kylie cosmetics as their go-to. Makes me wonder about who is actually buying Kylie cosmetics and whether it is simply a novelty brand rather than a product that will become part of your every day makeup routine like Fenty has managed to achieve.

I really feel like it’s the make up that makes the money rather than the skin care! A lot of reviews on the skin care are very mixed so can’t imagine celebs/RU-vid gurus or even regular people like us reaching for it over certain staples we are used to. - It also comes with a stereotype because when there’s an issue with one of her products it’s blasted a lot more than regular companies due to the Twitter/Instagram generation ( a lot of younger people also) Personally I don’t use her make up or skincare so can’t speak much on the quality. This is just my opinion on it no shade also
