love that raspy voice. honest punchy lyrics. country southern soul blues folk. true artist this man who's lyrics are from life experiences. You can feel his pain and suffering as well as his yearning for what he cherishes. All the best, Joe.
Why doesn’t this have millions, AND MILLIONS, of likes yet?! Even after the lumineers covered it, this masterpiece still seems to be a somewhat hidden gem.
absolutely love the music I think he is absolutely amazing I love to hear lots more from him keep up the good work this is probably my new favorite song I probably listen to it at least 100 times now!!!!!
Well, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's issue Don't you come around babe, cus i don't miss you at all Ain't nobody's problem, but my own. (Musical Reprise) Well, I found myself a place, In every smile that you waste, And every other careless look you ever tossed aside, And In my heart I know its true, That I cant go on loving you, And that's a truth that don't feel good, but Honey, It feels right. Cus, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's issue, Don't you come around babe, cus i don't miss you at all. Ain't nobody's problem, but my own. (Musical Reprise) Well, Of Love, I've had my share. Plenty of People, Willing to Care. And At times, I know that I'm wicked in my pride. But I've burned the mountain air. And I've been here, And I've been there. And at times I might be lonely, Honey, I don't cry. Cus, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's issue Don't you come around babe, cus i don't miss you at all Ain't nobody's problem but my own. There's times at night Its cold outside The moon won't shine, And the Winds are crying. Lord, I wonder if you're alone, And if you mind letting me inside. And we could huddle up by the old wood stove, Kindle up some burnt out coals, And we could live again like times of old, But no, no. NO, NO, NO. Ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's problem but my own. No, I ain't nobody's issue Don't you come around babe, cus i don't miss you at all Ain't nobody's problem, but my own. (Decrescendo)
This is a great song and i am loving Joe's voice but the lumineers version is just more lively. From the funky piano to the secong chord being changed from minor to major creating this funky-dissonant-70s soul feel, it just works better
