Sawmill life - Making Log Stops - G0901. 

I have a home built mill, it works but all manual. I don’t own any type of tractor. I now only cut logs 4 to 4 1/2 feet long. The short length makes it possible.

Absolutely thinking about a sawmill. Thanks for the video on the Grizzly g0901. With a shop full of Grizzly and Shopfox woodworking tools myself , one would have thought that I would have at least checked out Grizzly first, but after looking at what looks like countless other companies that make these things, I ended up leaning towards Woodmizer or a Woodland Mills. But being a Grizzly tool hoarder, I now have to start checking out the Grizzly more. Question: Is this track system on the Grizzly a Grizzly specific design. It seems different than all the others that I looked at. Keep living the dream

Cut some 2" PVC pipe about 24" long. Slip the pipe over your log stops when rotating the log. Less friction makes the process easier.

Look at mr fancy and his saw mill while Im over here using a chainsaw mill with a manual winch on it xD. Its good to see youre doing well.
