What a wonderful company the 99 has been! This is so sad and I’m so sorry for you! It really is like losing a loved one. You’re in my prayers. I’m relieved that you’re not going anywhere. I’d really miss you, and I know countless other people would, too. I wish I were there because I’d buy some of the Easter decor to remember the 99 by. I have never been to a 99 sent only store because we don’t have one in my state but it’s still sad to see it close down. 😢 Bummer! I hope Dollar Tree doesn’t close down in the future. ❤ You never know unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing your history. So meaningful. My local store closed on Monday. We only had 60% off. For me, 99 was a friend. So sad to see it gone, but, happy that you will still have your platform.

Aww sway you have me crying with you. I have been in a dark place these last few years, not crafting at all. So I didn’t know what was happening. I am sorry to see them close. I loved the 99 store. Several years ago when I was in Cali I of course went shopping at the 99. I’m sorry to see them go. Omgosh Sway I’m so sorry to see the Sway to the 99!” Go too. I do understand tho. All our local stores in San Antonio have officially closed already. 99 cent was our to go store during covid and when I became a single mom this store saved me. My family and I are devastated they have closed. 😢

Hello Sway! I enjoyed listening to your story behind the $.99 store and how much you was involved with them. But the said thing is I teared up when you were telling us about everything you were involved with the 99 and how they helped you and your community out in hard times. I can see now why you’re so disappointed about the 99closing. Yes, we can all say sadly say bye to Sway the 99 but we can happy to say Hello to Sways Deals. I am so Happy that you are staying on for all of us. Something big is going to come up for you. Te Quiero Mucho Sway!!! You were the only RU-vidr I could find who was doing videos on the 99 and praising it how it should be praised. I never understood the dollar tree craze, when you have the 99.!!! Anyways, I’m so grateful that I found you through the 99 Cents store. I grew up with them, my family and my parents my sisters, my grandma we all love it and we were also devastated. Thank you for honoring our favorite store 😢 Te quiero mucho !!! Hugs 🫂

I never knew what an amazing relationship you had with The 99! You can really see the heart of the company by all the wonderful things you have told us! I'm sorry but I just discovered you from Crystal. When you flew in and shopped with her all day! And you being a moderator for her gave me opportunity to see more of you also. Once I found Crystal's channel, I stopped watching other shopping videos. Once she introduced you, I started watching your videos! Omg it was kind of hard watching this as someone that use to shop at 99 cent from time to time especially for Halloween decorations. It’s pretty sad and you make me cry a little seeing you tearing up makes me feel so emotional and I wish u nothing but positivity moving forward! So appreciate this last video!! Last Sunday our local store closed.. $10 for all you could fit in a shopping cart! I was there at 9:15 am Sunday & quite a lot of seasonal left. By 10:00 am. the store was completely empty. Can you believe it? Still So very sad for me! 😩 😓

Got emotional watching this video. Seeing the emptiness of 99 cents store is tragic. I definitely enjoyed shopping there especially during COVID lockdown. I saved a lot of money shopping there. I know where to go if I want to be nostalgic and re-watch 99 cents store videos. Thank you Sway!

Thank you for posting and sharing your story about the 99 store. I discovered your channel awhile ago (and it might have been recommended to me after watching one of Crystal's videos). I enjoy watching your walkthroughs and it saves me time because I just make a note of what I see in your video and get it whenever I'm in-store. I went to a 99 years ago, but didn't think much of it. When I found out that they were closing, I went a couple times and found so many great things... including a graduation plush and your channel! (Grad Guy is watching this with me!) My time with The 99 was short, but it's such a special place now! They'll truly be missed! :')

Sad indeed. I do believe your new name (channel) will bring you many more new followers since many thought you only did walkthroughs for the 99 cents exclusive. I didn't know you were from New York! Do you remember Jack's 99? That store was amazing. When I moved back to California, the 99 Stores were my go-to. I literally live in walking distance from the 99. So sad to see two awesome retail chains go out of business.
