I have a few MAGs as well as a Prime 4n1 and their spreader bar. I use the MAGs most. I gave the Prime 4n1 a good run, but with heavier weights the plastic grips just don't stay as secure in my hands as MAGs rubberized grips. I do really like the spreader bar, though, for triceps work and face pulls mostly, where I'm not working very heavy.
I've the Chinese copies of the RO-T8 handles. Do the original RO-T8 handles also have the problem that the grip-coating gets cracks and starts ripping off ? ... also see already dents from my fingers in one of the handles ... the coating not just rips apart but also it rubs off into plastic sand. I also have the MAG grips at home ... the coating is really high quality and this problem does not exist there. Thanks in advance !
Appreciate your channel and the thorough reviews! I'm debating between the two and would like to know if there is a difference in the width of the mag grip vs the prime in the appropriate setting? Prime medium says 20" and Mag medium says 22" and curious if you noticed a difference.
It was between 4 mag grips or the prime ROT8 bundle. I went with the mag grips, and will be buying some small shackles to put in the mag grip holes so the carabiner won't get stuck. However I do have the Prime KAZ handles and bring them to the gym with me, those handles are great. Good content bro
Price on these skyrocketed. I get that they’re adjustable so each bar is neutral, pro, and sup, at any angle, but 200 for one bar now compared to 60 for a mag and even less for a knockoff mag.
