The spud inc also helps with golfers elbow. Chins and heavy lat pulldowns really aggravate golfers elbow for me. A reduction in grip allows me to do these without injury…
@@Phoenix11720 Sure. Actually, rest is the worst thing you can do. Rippetoe has a protocol for it if you google it. For me, I drive lots of blood in my elbow before any pressing or pulling, with 3x50-100 rep banded pull downs. One of the causes can be grip related (the tendon involved runs from the elbow to the wrist, so straps really helped me. Versa Gryps if you can afford them.
I like the fact that you show us equipment options as a lot of us have to work around chronic injuries or surgeries .. awesome , Matt . Please do more videos with maybe different Olympic style bars .
@@WenningStrength in all seriousness man thank you so much for all the information you and your team produce. I know I speak for myself and many others when I say that you’ve added so many tactics and strategies to my lifting arsenal and I’d be 6 years behind where I am right now if I hadn’t found your content💪🏼
I’ve implemented Wenning Warmups with my Elite FTS conjugate template and I’ve finally started to really improve and strengthen weakpoints . Thanks for the continued information and versatility!
That’s one of them Larry Scott lat pull down bars. Not sure if you mentioned it, but I first learned about them through some stuff his “secrets” writings from the 90’s.
Your comment about “tractioning the wrist” peaked my attention. I’ve had a bit of wrist pain on and off for years and recently someone suggested I do deadhangs, or start using wraps while deadlifting to traction. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
Have you done a video on what different types of bars are used for or can be used to target weaknesses? Like SSB, Camber Bar, Swiss Bar, Spider Bar, Straight Bar, Bow Bar etc.
I’ll take more ideas when I get more traction. Right now just doing what I can as the channel makes me pretty much zero. If you would like to help join patreon www.patreon.com/wenningstrength
Love this. Simple information on what’s available to use or you can make yourself. A lot of people get the twisting ez bar handle wrong and let it flex their wrist glad you brought up keeping wrist neutral. I also like a longer tricep rope or even one from hardware store like a lifting strap for face pulls and pushowns. Thanks again Matt!
That grenade attachment looks interesting. I keep looking at the monkey feet to replicate the reverse hyper in my home gym for my next purchase. My 3 different sized fat grip handles and wenning grip machine will have to hold me over. Great video Matt.
The last device is a great addition for bbuilding purposes (all of them are great) On a side note, I love the fact that you’ve changed the intro music; guys 40 and over will agree with me.
