Yea cmon Kyle. Definitely a mouse for someone with disabilities or lacking in tech savvy. Especially if you can talk to it while you use it!? My dad who point and stare types would benefit 1000x from this. From time saved staring at a keyboard and In desk space from removing the keyboard completely
I'm a younger man, 40 years old. I was told 3 days ago I need a complete wrist replacement(didn't even know that was a thing) due to trauma from a shattered wrist in a motorcycle accident 14 years ago. The mouse has potential...I might wait to see if there is a higher quality one. The language translation is actually a plus for me as I work with a lot of Hispanic people at work that I chat/game with.

I have used those UNI USB C hubs for work and they work very well, sometimes windows dosen't detect the device properly and you need to manually have windows search for the drivers though so that might be what is happening to you, check the device manager
Also I noticed that he used the side USB C port, I have the exact same one, you can only use the USB C port on the back for connecting to your computer.
@@kaldo_kaldo in the video it clearly shows he doesn't need to lift it, also this is just straight up easier to use, and with elderly (most likely to have hand function reduced) the simpler the better
The Insta360 is cool, I've seen a couple other reviews, I like the 'desk view' mode and where you can set up zones for it to lock onto, where it will start following a second person if they are in another zone.
Regarding the mouse, I think that product is meant for blind people or people with impairments in a way that they cannot use a keyboard. It's definitely an accessibility product and definitely has a well deserved place in the market, it's not useless or ridiculous, it's a tool for a more barrier free PC environment

Didn't Dawid do a short on what his upcoming video a few days before his video was live so maybe did he copy his idea? Probably not as not enough time between. Edit: yeah definitely not enough time strange coincidence though
@@Fatty_WB Dawid's video was 3 days ago, if it is a week of stuff it can't be a copy of him. I guess this idea started on a non PC channel and has become something in some other field.
The Uni cables are actually pretty nice. I have the USB-C to USB-C cable and it definitely works as advertised. I have a few other cables from them, and they are all well-made and sturdy.

The USB hub/card reader/minidock might need external power to work, maybe that's what the powerbrick is for? it's designed to supply manyWatts of PD-power after all. :D
I have a Insta360 One R, one of their modular action cams. It's actually really good. Only thing that annoys me to no end is that, in webcam mode, you can't turn off the follow feature. We have a yearly LAN party between friends and due to COVID most people played from home. I was there on scene and set up the Insta360 to live stream all of us to our friends at home over DC. It just kept zooming on our faces. Great feature but for the love of god, let us turn it off!
Getting off work (I work at a vacuum store) and coming home to relax and watch a video, just to watch you use your robot vacuum to suck up screws, after spending all day telling people to NOT do that because it’ll break it, is the exact opposite of relaxing 😂😂😂
Uh, look, I know it's not a first for youtubers to have the same idea. But DawidoesTechStuff literally did this like a couple days ago. Now, I know that samples can take weeks to months to arrive so that "For a week" could have been ages ago. My thoughts are, are you guys in like a TechTuber discord or something where you discuss these sort of ideas?
I saw Dawid's too, and they idea was pretty much the same but the execution was very different. You can really see how a good tuber has their own style.
This type of coincidence between creators happens way more often than you think. At some point you're either accidentally copying someone else, or they're accidentally copying you. Obv there's people who intentionally rip off content, but that's small pp energy

They were probably working on the idea at the same time and didn't have any idea. And even outside shipping times, videos can take A LOT of time to put together from start to finish. So, no way there's any copying going on here.
The problem with the iLife robot is you didn't get to use the app, so it wasn't able to use the ir scanner to scan the area and map it out. Also cable manage the cables

I have that mouse for work! Its extremely useful as a Crop Adjuster (crop insurance) when talking with north French Canadians or down south with Spanish speakers. It can translate without needing internet access which we use when out in the middle of fields. Also helpful in team meetings where not everyone can understand every dialect.
My favorite was the Gimbal video camera. As a professor I can definitely see some good use cases for this product. Often times I’ll be drawing something on the whiteboard in class and it would be awesome to have this product to “follow” me as I walk across the front of my class. The video quality was nice would like to know more about where I can purchase for myself. I also liked the mouse with AI voice. I a could also see a definite use case in my private business as an accountant. In SoCal (bruh) I’m sure you’ve come across Latinos and it would be great to be able to translate on the fly when searching for specific items in Google when helping clients in the office.
Really interesting video. Did you considered that that usb C hub is suposed to be powered with separate power source,like,you should power it with its own power adapter,instead of expecting it to be powered solely out of PC's usb,given that it's rated "100 watts"? Try to see if there is any "lightning" symbol on any of its usb ports (I guess it's a symbol for charging port?) Thanks for investing your time so we all can enjoy your vids,have a good one.

I have no need for a fancy Webcam, but if I did I would definitely get the one shown at the end of the video. That image was crispy and the features are neat. It honestly looked better than the rest of your video IMO.
really like the usb hub with the HDMI, thats a clever bit. and the little gimbal web cam would be interesting to watch you when building something, it could track you as you walk around the bench.
14:01 UNI is really good , i have a display port to usb c cable from my monitor to my laptop for about a year and a half by now and it’s working like new .

Honestly the translation mouse would be great (if it was also a solid mouse first) for people who game with friends in other countries that don't speak their language well. Super quick and effective text chat without pulling up translate, typing, copy/pasting. You'd be able to make real-time callouts pre translated with no lag so long as the dictation holds up with BG noise
Weird how you and 'Dawid Does Tech' had the same idea at the same time. Also, How is it cold in ur studio when you have ur rig on? I live in Canada and in the winter I leave my window open when my Pc is on.
Love videos like these. I get to see random gadgets that I haven't come across. Something to think of when I can find a place to use them in the future.

That mouse for people who type poorly or don't want to along with the disabled. I was really impressed with it's accuracy. The price seemed reasonable for the amount of time it would save you.
Reviews on Amazon don't really matter. Amazon doesn't have any protection from fake reviews/accounts. When you scroll through some (known) boosted products, you can start to realize that the reviews all sound similar overall, and non-natural. Always have to think about this, would you or someone you know write that review. Then, think about how often you write a good review vs a bad review. I can say I am probably around 20% good and 80% bad personally, because I post either for helpful upgrades to the company or a PSA after testing fixes heavily and dealing with the company.
If you get caught doing that, they completely block you from posting reviews or even questions on products. Even if your reviews were legit. Oh and they remove any review you've ever left no matter what the rating. Even on Amazon products.
I mean how bad can it go than receiving someone else's package on delivery for reviewing and that too on random unknown products 😹😹😹 even the delivery system needs reviewing

I have a USB-C multiport, and the non-removable cable is too short for my laptop stand setup, lol. It’s a good hub(Satechi 9-in-1), albeit with a power supply pass-through that’s useless for me. A lot of those hubs were made specifically with Macs in mind since the 2016-20 MacBooks cut out all major ports except Thunderbolt, so third parties swooped in to take the market since Apple never fully made multiport hubs and even with HDMI and SD back, they’re considered essential for MacBook owners. I have a Uni 4xUSB A hub for on the go and it works well.
The voice typing mouse is actually very neat you can walk around your room speaking what you want to type and it'll do the job, no more hurty fingies when typing book sized stuff !
The insta360 is pretty bomb for a webcam before you step up to Wireless DSLRs. From everything I seen it's the best webcam available followed up by the AVerMedia PW515, and Elegato Facecam.

I believe the usb c port you used on the uni usb c hub is actually the input and one on the side is a output, I use one of these hubs to use my phone like a android computer. Love the charizard onesie

I randomly came across the UNI products I was looking for a dock with removable cable because I hate the ones with attach cables because guess what that cable is gonna break at some point and then you're gonna be stuck with an expensive dock you can't use because the cables attached. Yes detachable cables also let you change the length another feature which is underappreciated. I've been very happy with all the products of gotten from them I have SD card readers, both mini docks and cables.
Very cool iPhone thing! I used a 4s for years and loved it. It was built like a tank... the last "strong" iPhone. I hope that went to a good fanboy/girl's home!
