Wow 💜. Two weeks ago I saw a circular pulsating purple light whilst meditating. I am a mindfulness teacher but I had this sudden strong unexpected desire to be a psychotherapist! Later I was talking to some people and one of them said he was a teacher of A Course in Miracles and he mentioned Robert & Emily. Now, less than 2 weeks later I’m on Course Companions and find myself watching this video!!! I now realise the light I saw was just like the Circle of A’s little logo on the App! I am most certainly being guided in tje right direction and I’m saying « yes » 💜🙏🌈
Thank you both for doing this video I think it's important for people to understand how this all actually happened. It all obviously was a divine intervention on many levels. I didn't hear how Emily actually found the course only that you ordered the book off of Amazon? Side note, used bookstores usually have the textbook and usually brand new. Supporting our small businesses is important😌 There is no doubt that you two ended up together through the course but in the end things shifted just way it was planned!🎉 No one is where he/she is by accident, and chance plays no part in God's plan❤ I'm happy and grateful you listened to guidance. Really key wisdom “it got harder. But it got better. But I am happier even though it’s not as easy as it was before.” And “it’s smaller, it’s harder but it’s so much more meaningful” and now her restlessness doesn’t appear anymore. To Emily’s point near the very end, while I may still have some resistance to the idea of the course and some of its teachings, both your “yeses” have indeed positively impacted my spiritual journey beyond what I can say. Thank you for this episode, for both of you sharing so openly and being so vulnerable and transparent. (You always do this, but other episodes aren’t AS personal.) Part of your message is challenging for me to hear and understand - this concept of it getting harder. (Insert exasperated sigh here LOL) I mean that’s the promise underpinning all my efforts at and desire to surrender! The promise that God knows how to handle things better than me. That God’s plan works-and mine doesn’t. That question of “oh, you want to control your own life? i.e., instead of giving it to God. Well how’s that goin’ for ya?” That when I’m “in the flow” that there’s a feeling of FLOW, of ease. That (as Marianne often jokes/says) the power that knows how to keep the planets orbiting can handle the little details of my life. I mean, sheesh, if I want life to be harder, I CAN handle creating that by myself LOL! I will meditate on this…any thoughts from Emily/Robert (or another podcast) are welcome. 😊

I had a very similar story to Emily’s although my story then took me away from the project I was called to assist to grow. Life is always calling us forward and sometimes the orientation changes dramatically as it did for me. I’d also love to hear of the story which went on in the background as to how the love grew between Emily and Robert, a different kind of yes yet woven in to this original yes. I remember when Emily showed up and Course Companions. I even signed up for the first study group. I definitely don’t agree with making fun of the mindful leadership phase as seemed to be happening from Robert. It will have helped many as a bridge towards a deeper journey, a valid step onwards for many. Thank you Emily. You clearly are a force and know what you are doing.
