I hope you listen first to their original version of Mapa because it is different from the recent one which is the Band version. Also watch their Tilaluha performance on Wishbus and Hanngang Sa Huli.

Well it's very different and speaking of being "innovative" for me its kind of new to hear this kind of song from SB19, bcoz if you haven't check them more. They are the one who wrote the song, lyrics and produced. MA,PA means mom and dad. Inspiring and also heart warming if possible you should also check there original MV of MA,PA. And make sure to turn on the caption . I've been also waiting for your reaction. Thank you But I know that they are very talented.

SB19 has several ballad songs one which is Mapa. I recommend watching their Mapa Lric video with the english subs on as its meaning is very deep. Ben&Ben on the other hand is an indie folk band. I recommend watching their Leaves music video. Both artist belong to different genres, yet they were able to come up with a collaboration.

Thanks again "H" for your 2nd SB19 (plus BEN&BEN) RV. In this 1st Collaborative "MAPA" LIVE Performance of the 2 Bands, SB19 Leader, Composer, Co-producer PABLO, gave the BENjamin Twins the liberty to re-arrange "MAPA" from his Original melody. The rendition has a more Celebratory sound while the Original melody is more Emotional, since since PABLO Composed it while the 5 of them were living together away from each of their Mom & Dad for a long time, due to SB19's very hectic daily Schedules. I hope you will do a RV of SB19- "MAPA" LYRIC VIDEO to hear it's Original melody/harmonizrions & be able to Read & Understand the Legitimate English Translation of SB19's TRIBUTE to Honoreach of their MA & PA.

Hi H, apart from the climax at the end with the intricate harmonies, I agree that MAPA isn’t vocally complex, because it isn’t meant to be. The original version is a lullaby, for their parents. The band version is a celebration of family so everyone should be able to sing along. For their more complex work, I’d suggest the latest live versions of Tilaluha and Hanggang sa Huli on TMPUSUAN. You will notice Pablo (SB19 leader who composes and co-produces their music) adjusts the complexity of the song depending on the audience it’s for. The hint to that is in the lyrics which are literal poetry set to music. Thanks for making this rv!

A lot of people could be good singers but not all good singers can harmonize. For me, this is their first collab but man, it felt like they’ve been singing together for a while now. The Official Collaboration Video is one take only, so they're singing live. Ben&Ben is a Folk Pop Band consisting of 9 members. The main face of the group are twins named Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin (The ones in the front with the long hair, glasses, and guitar)

You might want to check out the original version of SB19's MAPA in KALAYAAN 2021 (with closed caption for English translations). The OV is more emotional and heartwarming; the Band Version is more upbeat and celebratory. Ben&Ben is a famous indie-folk/pop band in the Philippines. They arranged the BV of MAPA that's why it sounds different from the OV and it's more eclectic - a bit jazzy with some verses sound reggae-ish, etc.

Guys, chill. If he's not into it, we can't force him. If you have noticed, he's not even impressed by the vocal techniques. Not sure on his background and his knowledge in music but I expected that he will give more feedbacks since he's saying that he is a vocal coach. He has set his own standards and that's okay.

SB19 is actually more known for being a harmonizing Boyground. I hope you can react to more of SB19’s Ballad. I’m sure you’re gonna enjoy it since they have a wide range of vocals. They have a great bass vocalists and soprano in the group. Check out “Tilaluha” live perforance on TM Pusuan Love show and “Hanggang sa Huli” on Wish Bus. BTW, Ben&Ben are the 9 people having musical instruments leaded by the Benjamin Twins and SB19 are the 5 Men with Handheld Mics. Ben&Ben rearrange the music for this band version which gave a totally different vibe from SB19’s the original version. Thanks once again for the wonderful reaction.
