The song MAPA has gained more than 80M views in You Tube, more than 45M in Spotify, has been translated in several language and is the 5th most googled song in 2021.
MAPA just hits differently and everyone can easily relate to, regardless of culture or generation. It just proves music transcends and is a universal language. ✨️❤🇵🇭

SB19 is a Five members Pop group from the Philippines🇵🇭 namely Pablo, Stell, Josh, Ken & Justin. Each member is very good in their vocals and are good dancers too. They just recently finished their US & Canada tour.
I'm your new follower. I'm from the Philippines, too. 💜 I'm happy I saw your page, lola (grandma ) and lolo (grandpa). Thanks for your kind words to our SB19. Everyone of us can relate to this song because some of our relatives and friends are workers abroad and we feel how tiring it is for them to be so far away.
I don't know why until now.. everytime I listen to this song I still cry....maybe because I know the singers are known to really have genuine value to their parents...that's why they sing the song with love.
SB19 is Pop group from the Philippines, there are 5group members, Pablo, the leader, Stell ,the Lead Singer, Josh, the lead rapper, Ken, the Main dancer and Justin, the sub-vocal..Actually, all of them can sing, rap and dance well..They speak Tagalog, our national language in the Philippines as well as English too..
They are the most famous Filipino global group. They are self managed artists from the Philippines now conquering the world with their good, inspirational and motivational music. Please listen to more of their songs NIYEBE, ILAW, LIHAM, TILALUHA and HANGGANG SA HULI., Those have english subs on the vid
Thank you for your reaction. SB19 is a group of 5 humble and multi talented guys. They’re so popular for their meaningful songs and their ability to render any genre of music. Not only do Filipinos love them but they have multi national fans as well. Please support and continue reacting to SB19. I find them amongst others as the only pop group with a substance ❤
I discovered SB19 while taking care of my dad before he passed on. This group creates songs that represent their life experiences. Every one of their ballads are beautiful! If you would like to see the faces behind the verses I would recommend this song, MaPa, sung on the Wish USA bus. This performance also has English subs but you'll get to see each member perform live! After that I would suggest Nyebe next. The official Visualizer has English subs. The song was written during the covid pandemic. Filipino family members often choose to work overseas to support their families because the pay is better and this song is about not knowing when or even if they would reunite with some of their loved ones. Another beautiful song! There are so many more as well. Keep exploring this wonderful group! By the way, you can change the settings in RU-vid to make the subtitles larger if needed. The default is pretty small.
Do react to SB19 ballads, Tilaluha, Ilaw, Liham, Nyebe... Aggressive beats Bazinga, Crimzone, What. RnB : WYAT, I want you. Thank you for your reaction!
Since i already gave you a background about SB19 maybe MAPA is a good start of diving into their music 🎶..They have other ballad songs to choose from but was done in Tagalog. Like TILALUHA, HANGGANG SA HULI AND their latest all English, I WANT YOU, There's a funky retro type of dong, "Where You At"..its fun song ,like disco type 😊😄
This song has been translated to so many different languages all over the world. It has 87 million views right now from when it was released 2 years ago.
One of your subscribers here! 🇵🇭 I would suggest you have a SB19 playlist because your journey to this PPOP kings would be amazing so be ready my friend! ☺️ I want to watch your other reactions of SB19.
The best SB19 "MAPA" (Map) the two syllables Ma.Pa. represents... ma-mama (mother) pa-papa (father)... meaning: Respect, Love and Take Good Care of your parents.
SB19 is a 5-member boy band from the Philippines. Our language has a bit of Spanish bcoz our country was colonized by Spain in the past. Ma, Pa is for Mama , Papa. And MAPA is map. These fine young men paid tribute to their parents whom they love & respect so much. Parents/Grandparents are our guide/map in our journey in life. If you want to see the boys singing to MAPA live, please watch and react to their Wishbus USA performance. Thanks 💝
You two are adorable..Thanks for reacting.."Tita" is Aunt in English btw..We call in Tagalog, LOLO and LOLA for grandfather and grandmother..MAPA is a good start for your first reaction to our Filipino boy group.. New sub for SB19
Thank you for your RV to our dear SB19. As mentioned in earlier comments they are from the Philippines. MAPA was also the first song I heard/viewed last year that led me to this amazingly talented Filipino boyband, such a gem from my homeland. Listening to the song feels like a warm embrace from my parents who are no longer around. In case you are wondering what Lataratara Lataralata means, that is just a lullabye. Do continue on exploring the other performances they made for MAPA. Try to find the MAPA band version which is a collaboration between SB19 and Ben&Ben band. Also they have a WishUSA bus performance of it, which showcases their live vocals. They also have a music video which they made as part of their collaboration with the ice cream brand 'Selecta'. SB19 is always so much better with their live performances, so do continue on exploring their other songs. It is good you started with the lyric video or if there is a music video that is good too, that way you can turn on english subtitles. Part of the charm of SB19 songs, is the rich lyrical content of their songs, mostly composed by their leader, Pablo. Oftentimes there are word plays, or double meanings/metaphors in their songs which challenges the audience to dig deeper and appreciate the message being conveyed. Thanks again and hoping to see more reactions.❤
Thank you so much for granting my request. And thank you for the shout-out.😊 " Tita" means Aunt and pronounced as "Tea tah. We, A'tin, ( pronounced as 18) appreciate Reactors of SB19. I hope you can also react to MAPA sung in WishBus USA ( it also has subs), so you will see the faces of our multi talented SB19. ❤ Again thank you and God bless.🙏
MaPa(map in english) also short for Mama and Papa...Ma mata(eyes) Pa paa(feet) in the lyrics mama is my eyes, papa is my feet...and there's a map(mapa) that symbolize wherever you will go you can always find your home bcoz you have MaPa(map)..wordplay in this song is amazing..written and composed by the members while doing there laundry...pablo tge leader asked the member what they want to say to their mama and papa..and that's it..they are known to thier ballad, harmony, acapella, wordplay, dancing bcoz all the member came from hiphop industry all member can also rap..all around group...any genre they can nailed it..they called " Live Monster" and "Vocal Monster"
Hi! New sub here from the Philippines. thanks for reacting to our SB19. Please! Do a reaction video to their song ILAW lyric video. You'll surely love it..i love your RV 😍

SB19 Is from the Philippines and we also speak a little Spanish. Cause we been Spanish colonized for more than 300 years. But our speaking original language is Tagalog ang the second language is English cause we been colonized of the United States for 40 more than years early 1900 till the end of WW2. So welcome so many History ✌️❤️
SB19 is a group of Filipino men who were trained and formed by a korean company through several auditions. But now, they are on their own. From a humble beginning, when they quitted their jobs to pursue their dream of performing, borrow each other's money and clothes, and share food, they are now self-managed group having a company they built themselves. Their songs reflect their experiences. That's why they are easy to relate to. Their songs inspire, motivate and even hug you when you need one. They are talented- they write their own songs, do some of their choreographies, conceptualize and direct their music videos and concerts. They're humility, humor and truthfulness added more shine to them. I hope you'll dig deeper more to them. I am willing to help you. By the way, can I call you lolo and lola? (grandpa and grandma) 🤗
Warning: Long Message ahead. Message below aims to answer some of your questions you have in mind. Hope this helps. (1) MaPa = Mama and Papa (Parents) (2) Mapa = Map (English) (3) MaPa = Mata and Paa (Eyes & Feet) (4) Lataratara = There is no direct translation (Prolly) for this. This is a lullaby, a hymn normally our Mom makes every time she puts us to sleep. Remember our [1]MaPa normally just utter any sound tucking us in. Our Map is our [1]MaPa in this Life journey. Both used and present on this song. This is a masterpiece written by Pablo in collaboration with the rest of SB19. The release of the magical song was intended between the mother’s day and father’s day since the song is for them. This is a love letter to our parents. For some if not most, we barely tell our parents how we feel inside. This masterpiece will help us do another move to tell them how much we value and love them. In the song, “we will never get lost because we have the Mapa (Map)”. The map represent our parents. The things they taught us, the sacrifices, the advice they give and hardships. We will never get lost so long as we have the Map (Map). The Map that we can bring anywhere we go. The map that contains all the leanings and guidance our [1]MaPa gave us. In the Filipino culture (or prolly in other culture), we children have great regard to our parents / elderly. Most of us we would want to give back. Times wherein we just want our parents to stay still, we want to serve them and it’s time for us (children) to do the rest. We want them to rest from the tiresome days and time they give and sacrifices for us. This song hits the hardest if we have those regrets if not being able to give back and let them rest from those tiring days they spent for us. Regrets prolly due to some unforeseen events. Event where they can no longer hear our “thank you” and gratefulness towards them. Regrets prolly because we don’t have the capability yet of returning the favor (though they never ask for it). Regrets prolly because we are far from them and this pandemic is hindering us of being with them or for any reason. Normally our parents (MaPa) would not share how hard life is, they would not tell us how tight things are. They would always keep inside them the struggles they are facing and normally they will always show their happy face for us not to worry. There’s this Filipino saying “isusubo nalang nila, ibibigay pa sayo” This can be translated as our parent always put us first. First part of the song, Justin talks about how our parents (MaPa) prioritize us in all aspects. In the Filipino culture, remember the day when you as a kid cries asking for a balloon and our parent would graciously get some coins and buy one for you. That moment we can only see the our happiness for getting what we simply want, but we cannot see their smile because we are happy with a simple thing. Josh’s part where he heed the memories and advise his (a) father gave him. That even though they are not together he promised of keeping them. Remember a milestone in our lives, our first step as a baby? Those gently hands guiding not just our ways but most making sure that if we fall, they are there willing to Catch and pick us up and encourage us to try again. For Single parents out there, you both the Ma and Pa. you alone is the Mapa. For those OFW parents (MaPa) doing the great sacrifices for their Kids, Salute! Those OFW Kids making every effort to provide and give back their MaPa’s, Salute. Watching this masterpiece brings me home every time. Let’s not wait for the time where we regret.. call them now and let them know how much we love and treasure them. Each one of us has a story to tell with regard to our MaPa and Mapa. I wanna hear em. You may share and comment your story here. This second single, MAPA answers the “Where” from this comeback. IF the song “What” is proudly swinging our Flags, this “Where” is talking about our Origin, our parents and wherever we go, we will always go back to ur family. This masterpiece deserves to be heard around the Universe. This song deserves to be sang only by SB19 in different language respectfully. This Love letter hits us Filipino the most because it’s on the original language. The world deserves to hear this on their own language. Petition for our boys (EsBi) to do so. And hey, Watch out for the Easter eggs in the ending Map.
Pls try ilaw want to hear some of youre reaction its sad song like there is a soul that can touch the heart of anyone who can listen to it tnx and more power
Their from the Philippines, stell, ken, josh, justin and pablo. Pablo wrote it. MAPA means, map which gives direction at the same manner it means MA, short for Mama and PA short for Papa.
You don't know how much I loved your reaction. As a kid who grewnup with my grandparents I just so love seeing you react to SB19. If there's only a heart button I'd smash that for you. Take care!
Hello grannies. Thank you so much for checking out our Philippine Pop Kings SB19. They just recently finished their North America tour in 10c cities. They will perform on Sept2 at Boston with JVKE. The one who sang golden hour. You can also check their collab JVKE REMIX SB19 GOLDEN HOUR. MAPA is for parents or guardians who guided them eversince. They are saying that after all their parents did, its now time for them to rest and they will be the one to take care of their parents.❤
From the same group, SB19, they recently released new songs. Two songs from their EP are 'Liham' which means 'letter' and the other one is Ilaw' which means 'light'. Bith are ballads. Please ensure that you pull up the official lyric video so that it provides you the best subtitles/translation. It's sung in their native language, Filipino. There are some Spanish words mixed in the language since the country was colonized by the Spaniards for 300 years. The group is from the Philippines. They also have songs that are in English (WYAT, I Want you, and Bazinga).
Thank you for the information, and for the suggestions. We have already reacted to ILAW, but we have added the other requests to our list. Here is a link to our reaction to ILAW: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SolER657Els.html
Thank you for this information. The Filipino people have been so kind and encouraging to us, and yes, we have been called aunt and uncle, so you information is very helpful.
Thank you so much for granting my request.😊 A'tin , ( pronounced as 18) the fandom of SB19 love watching (and supporting) their YT Reactors. I hope you can also react to MAPA sung live in WishBus USA . You will see the faces behind the voices of these super talented boys. Thank you. More power and God bless.
7:30 They're actually speaking in tagalog. Philippines has been colonized by the Spaniards for over 300 years that's why so many of our words has similarity with spanish.
They had their US tour actually. I didnt know them eventhough im from the Philippines, they brought new message in every songs. If only everything be given exact word that would be enough to understand what they have been through here. Thank you. I am not a fan but i envy their perseverance and they are very humble eventhough they reach the Billboard Chart. 9:05
