This version sounds so much less harsh. The original is almost grating to listen to for too long, but this one feels like it has much less of an edge to it. Perhaps not the most improved MIDI over the WAV in the soundtrack, but it's up there

Incredible to hear the original versions, feels weird and amazing compared to the versions we all know.

WOW! The overall creepy atmosphere is mostly absent here. It's way easier on the ears. Still love both versions but this one offers another perspective on the track. Really love the organ in the "chorus", feels like it was always meant to be there..

I think this is the version the creator originally composed in 2001 before he got a Roland Edirol SD-90 and composed the WAV version on there.

The higher pitch sounds more like the DiPP version. I heard that ZUN made DiPP before EoSD, so that makes sense.

OH. The MIDI version was in D Minor. THAT'S why all the U.N. Owen remixes sound the way they do! Although...I have to say I prefer the WAV version. Something about this song in Bb just feels right...

Realmente me gusta bastante. Siento que evoca sentimientos diferentes a comparación del WAV, el cual suena mucho menos armónico en comparación al MIDI. Ambos me gustan en paralelo y no veo razón para compararlos.

Sorry for asking here, but I have no idea where else could I ask this: What's with the song names in HRtP? For example Sariel's first theme is sometimes called "Now die for the debts you have accumulated" or "For the debts you have accumulated ~ Now until the moment you die" even though it's called just "Now, until the moment you die" in HRtP, MS music room AND in Akyuu's Untouched Score So where the fuck did the debts come from? It's impossible to mistranslate it this way and I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Sariel's 2nd theme really has 3 names, but I have found no such information about this one *Edit:* it *was* a mistranslation, that was on the touhou wiki from 2005 until 2009 (if the dates aren't broken) As for where did that come from, I still have no idea (there was even "Die to Pay Your Debt" version lmao), especially that 2 part title I mentioned (that probably someone just made up using the 2 alternative translations).

Don't know why but when I play the MIDI versions on the game it sounds broken, every song.

My, if it isn't the infamous "Death Waltz", in all of its faded glory. I absolutely prefer this MIDI original over the much more well known WAV arrangement. I should note that no combination of notes and instruments invented by ZUN knows my distaste, which often noses its way into the sparsely guarded crevices of many a modern pop song.
