Thanks for the video. It was helpful in seeing how to remove the drain. A couple additional tips for others. The original o-ring is 16mm ID and 22mm OD which make the thickness 3mm. A standard nitrile o-ring in this size is typically only about 2.5mm thick. That's all i had at the time I replaced mine and a single o-ring did not feel snug enough when I screwed the drain back in. I used two as the way they fit at the base drain made the second one stretch out. That and some silicon tape around the thread made for a leak-free job, but I would strongly recommend getting a 3mm thick o-ring before doing the replacement. I couldn't find any at the local auto parts stores but found a pack of 3 on E-bay for $2.99 in case it leaks in the future. I would also recommend doing this when you change your oil after removing the oil filter because it is then much easier to snug the nut at the base of the drain with the oil filter out of the way. Anyway, thanks again for the video and hope others find the additional tips helpful.
Good job, Mark! An easy repair like that has to beat the heck out of polishing aluminum! haha! Thanks for sharing, Brother! Be careful out there! Not too many folks are showing concern for the safety of others. Stay safe, stay healthy! Hi, Vicki!
The first video I ever watched of yours was the head gasket repair on this mower. Easy repair on this one. 👍👍👍Stay safe I see y'all still have 0 cases in your area. We have a couple popping up where I live and that was from people fleeding NY and NJ. Hi Vicki👋
