Erases your A and B pairings, as well as any mobile phone, GPS, Mp3, or anything else paired to it. Does not erase buddy list, see "Voice Command Reset" video for that one...
A G9 definitely fits physically into the G4 base, and I know that the G4 was 100% compatible with the G9 and G9x bases, but I'm not absolutely certain that the G9 is fully compatible with the older, G4 base. I feel like it is, but I'm just not fully certain. Sorry for the wishy washy answer but hopefully that helps a little!
x Hubb If it’s just the mp3 you can’t hear (but you can hear everything else), first make sure your MP3 player is turned up all the way. Max volume on the MP3 player. Then try again. If still nothing, perhaps the cord connected to the headset is bad and try a different cord? If no volume on anything (MP3, Intercom, fm radio, etc.) Then I’d suggest taking the speakers out and making sure they are both working. If the speakers are blown you might be in for a new base kit unfortunately! Hope that helps!
@@MotoGeekFreak i have a bit the same problem, but with the radio, i can hear the beep when i turn on radio, and i can use the app to select stations and turn radio on and off, but i dont hear the radio... anything else like voice chat and such works perfectly… als when i connect it to the cardo community it doesn't work. it goes on and off all the time. this problem started a day after i connected with the app
Gre3D01 Hmmmm. Tough one. Don’t quote me on this but I’m almost positive that there was a way to reset this, but I don’t remember how! It’s not the master reset (although I would try that too if you haven’t already), it’s a different reset. Might have to call Cardo on how to do it. Also- when booking up to the Cardo Community, make sure you use the USB cable that came with it- it does play a role in it working because it’s a data cable, not just a charging cable... hope that helps a bit!!!
Hi everybody. I installed cardo updater with scala rider g9 connected to USB. Now my computer can not see the device and nothing happens when I plug the cable with scala on it to the laptop. How can I completely delete all the software and drivers to try to make it again from the start?
Hmmm. Are you using the stock USB cable? I know that not all cables will connect correctly; it has to be able to transfer data (like the one that it comes with does). Try that first, but If that doesn’t work, then yeah, I’d uninstall the Cardo Updater and just reinstall it. Hope that helps and good luck!!
@@MotoGeekFreak thanks for the advice but it didn't work. The only thing helped - I clearly installed cardo updater on the another computer with NO scala rider g9 connected to USB. After that I pluged it - then it started working!)))
