As an RC modeler myself. I can appreciate the work that went in to these beautiful scale models. I have only ever built one scale model ( I build mostly "Sport Models)" and it was nowhere near as good as these. I have to hand it to the German modelers, they build some of the finest scale models in the world, WELL DONE guys and great viseo work by the cameraman!!

Excellent video. Really appreciate capturing all the landings. The way a model is landed says a lot about the pilot in my opinion.

Wow! If the first plane had passengers, they had a super great pilot! But grass runways will tear up the best of airplanes, especially the passenger style. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Many thanks to the authors ..!!! I myself assembled several models of gliders, the last 2 models of RC Messerschmit BF109G and a two-meter Albatros motor glider.

Surely the most elegant airliner ever built was the Lockheed Super Constellation. It was a real treat to see the two models flying together.

Greetings, Fascinating video, and some really lovely aircraft. I had my head down and was just listening for a moment. I thought, “Why are they showing a guy mowing the airfield?.” I looked up, and it was an Extra 300, or something, hanging from the prop, You know, I always thought model aircraft were not only supposed to look right standing still, they were supposed to emulate the dynamics of the prototype. Some of the flights would have been pretty scary,, but I guess you’ve got to make allowances when you’re flying Concorde from a grass airstrip. One of the Do 28s had a good, back country feel to its operation. And the I-16 looked pretty good. A little bouncy on landing, but I imagine they could be a handful at times. I genuinely liked watching them, and the pucker factor stayed pretty low. I’ve never seen a Yak-54 “fly”, if that’s what you call it, but it was an impressive demonstration of what can be done with too much power. I didn’t know you could tow an Me-323 with a Wilga, I thought that usually took an He-111Z. A couple of pilots could probably use some tap dancing lessons. They seemed a little slow on the rudder pedals. The Connies in formation were kind of fun. Old Howard Hughes had a flair for the dramatic. He should have gone into the movies. I realize some of these comments have been kind of snarky, and I apologize. But that’s what we critics do. It certainly doesn’t mean we could come close to doing as well. I genuinely enjoyed this video, or I wouldn’t have taken the time to watch it and make these smartass comments. To all of the builders and pilots: keep up the good work. Let’s be careful out there.

Even electric jets aren't to be landed on grass fields although at our outback field we have 80 meters of conveyor belt rubber as a landing strip for the jets and scale models.

Concorde on rollout always reminds me of those little birds that skim across the water, fishing with their beaks open. What happens if they snag something bigger than a minnow? Do they break their necks, or dislocate their jaws?

From the video it is hard to tell. Are any of the airlines using functional flaps. I believe it would lower takoff and landing speed a lot . Making both easier on the planes and pilots. I was involved in RC aircraft in the 1970s until I moved to a town with no suitable location to fly RC, so I went full scale.

That first one was some typical German pilot and he landed it with a damaged nose wheel to boot 😂🪄✨👍🏻✨

Why do a lot of these modelers not use flaps? The ones that did use flaps landed much better. The others were coming in far too fast. I am surprised many didn’t lose more landing gear.

da waren mehr NICHT-Airliner unterwegs ....eigentlich nur ein Flugtag wie tausend andere auch....und die paar Ailiner wurden stellenweise auch noch sehr enttäuschend geflogen....Leute..dickes Bankkonto und fetter Jet bedeutet nicht das ihr auch fliegen könnt...ist leider so
