Thanks ! it works perfectly in FL 20, as instructed. This means that Scaler will be able to send messages to only Channel 1. In Kontakt, where we are able to load different instruments on different channels, Scaler communicates with only channel 1. Is this normal to scaler?- then everything is OK.
Hi. Can you please confirm two things? As of this posting (March 20 2021) with latest FL Studio: 1) Scaler only passes CC information in FL Studio if using the VST2 or AU version, and this does not work in FL Studio for VST3 2) In other DAWs, does Scaler indeed pass the CC information also for the VST3 target? Thanks!
It seems nerly every external instrument Ive tried has no option of the Cog wheel and plug where I can set the port. How do you find the port on Morphine for example to control with Scalar?
Scaler natively works with 3rd party apps that are inside FL’s wrapper. Only way to control native FL plugs, you would have to configure Scaler through Patcher
i can make a sound in scaler but then when i drag and drop it into the channel rack, it shows the notes on piano roll but will not play anything. Anybody know whats wrong?
Hope you found your answer, but if not I will answer. When you drag and drop- you are dragging midi notes ONLY- NOT the sound. Midi has no sound- it's just information. The point is to drag the midi notes to another instrument track like a sound made in Serum, etc.
