Visio for Desktop can accurately create scaled drawings, and can easily be used to measure areas in buildings, and assign a unique ID, name, use and other information to each space shape. If a CAD file is not available, then an image can be imported and scaled. Areas can be added, walls, columns, doors, windows and more can be added to provide a base for rooms, desks, equipment and personnel.
