I loved this technique. I used to do this with my little 20 dollar wigs lol. I would recommend trying to apply an oil or even a light grease before applying the jam/got2b because the oil seals the hair, reduces using too much gel, and helps to keep the water content from frizzing up your hair during styling. I'm 4c and that method has worked wonders for my sleek styles.

I Loved this video!!! Thanks for showing this in a step-by-step fashion. I have two daughters (14 & 21) who are natural. My son is getting married in 8 weeks and I think that we will try this style out before the wedding to see if we can do it for his big day. That way my 14 year old can enjoy the pool the day before the wedding.

I'm really liking how you styled that headband wig. The half up and half down hairstyle is one of my favorites. I normally spray my hair with water before applying any product to it though. I was watching another RU-vidrs video and she said water is a form of moisture for your hair. After watching that video it made detangling my hair and styling it in general easier. Because I was getting a lot of breakage. And I couldn't figure out why. So spraying my hair with water before I comb or brush it has really helped me. Even before I brush the edges. My edges didn't want to stay down for nothing. They were just doing their own thing. And I know I mentioned this before but your eyebrows are so well done. I strive to do mine as good as you do yours. As always I enjoyed watching your video. Stay blessed chica. 🙂

Eco styler works great on your texture using a brush that define curls.. the jam and got2b seems a bit white n clammy but love the idea of flippin in the band nvr thought of it!
