There was no passenger seat in the BR version. I sat on a coil of rope, on a beer crate. When as a toddler in the 50s when my dad took me to work with him. At one time he had a van girl, and I used to sit on her lap, shame I was only 4.
There was one of those lying derelict at Kirkby Steven East Station four decades ago. I saw it there a couple of times, then it vanished. I do hope it survived and was not scrapped.
