This is a hotel in Los Angeles California where we are currently hiding out, waiting for the arrival of a scammer cash mule. A group of scammers running the classic refund scam have sent one of their local cash mules to show up and steal $30k from what they think is a victim of this scam. This is exactly what I was thinking. Even if they don't get jail time, they end up on the laws radar, which is enough to spook the rest of them. I really appreciate the effort that these guys go to, in order to catch the miles, but they need to stop letting them go and start involving law enforcement. It's only a matter of time before they no longer have the same fear factor that they currently have, and eventually the mules will wear a "trilogy media encounter" like a badge of honour. Get these filthy scammers charged.

I can promise you, some really don’t know what they’re doing. At least I didn’t for a couple of months. As soon as I did, I called the cops and all state/federal departments to report it and help. I was still crazy screwed. Thankfully because I helped, I wasn’t prosecuted

That is true. They went from using money transfer services to gift cards to mailing cash to having mules come pick up the money. Some are also using Crypto Currency wallets and Bitcoin ATMs that are popping up in convenience stores. When they adapt, the scam baiters have to adapt too.

The law enforcement seems to let go of these guys anyways seen many times. It's better to get info on how mules operates and stop scams than involving law first who are useless and can't get any information of who's behind it etc.

Difference is those videos are being worked on with the police. They are going to get in trouble if they keep this up. The video here is proof of assault and battery. Yes, it is. They cannot chase someone down and forcibly stop them from running, and tell them if they go that they will go after him. It might also be blackmail to force him to give up his boss to save himself. It's different when people who have authority to do that engage in that behavior.... I'm not sure on the legalities of that one but I'm guessing they broke a few more laws there.

Honestly that was a really stupid move on his part and also a criminal act he very clearly knew it was his keys he watched him drop. That being said this could be charged as a felony in the state of California it’s literally the definition of illegal confinement/imprisonment also when the Russian dide chased dude and made physical contact with him there and with the gum chewing incident it’s remarkable these idiots haven’t got arrested. So I saw your name and profile pic and had to check out your channel. First I watched a couple shorts. I realized you have a very unique breed, as seen in the vacuum video, and I remember subbing a really long time ago to a woman who had 3 of them at the time. Not sure about now. But then I noticed something. I'm already subscribed to you but notifications are on custom, not all. So apparently I subbed to you at some point but notifications were taken down one setting. I don't think he meant it as a threat persay, but more of a psychological tactic. Being able to tell that a person is depending on something for their stress relief and telling them to stop it will definitely bring them back to their current situation their in and focus more on it. It also tends to put even more pressure on the guy, causing an easier pathway to an answer they want. I'm completely BSing this, but I think it has something to do with that.

This happened to me, I went to my bank and spilled the beans, when they realized I told the bank what was going on, they disconnected...I had to make changes to my accounts and passwords and that stopped that. That is why I don't like dealing with foreigners, you don't know what they are saying most of the time and they get upset when you say you cannot understand what they are saying, not good.

I think the scammers have someone else following the mule, it's a way to find out if they received the money without risking it, that's why they realized it. -- Another thing: I received a message saying that they were Trilogy Media because I have been sending you messages by email for a long time, I thought they were you. But by asking them questions I realized that they were scammers apart from asking me $500.00 to listen to me. I already reported them.

You're partially right the guy that he calls nick is the middle man so he is the one that's going to get 20 percent of that 30k . He found a sucka that thought a hundred dollars was good money to move a package a few blocks. He was parked or was in the hotel watching the whole thing or maybe his girlfriend or someone was watching that's why he got him out of that group thing so quickly. Unfortunately in the dope game when any side decides to do something crazy or crafty the middle man is screwed 😂

Great job again, guys! This was really eye-opening to see how the scammer adapts to all the situations. Obviously, the 1st mule decided against showing up, so they went with another one. The immediate deletion of accounts if there is no response from the mule. The desperation to stay separate with the dead drop...very risky as people will steal anything not chained down nowadays, which makes me think someone is waiting in the parking lot waiting for the drop, especially with that much money sitting by a trash can unattended. Making a tracker and camera inside the box again an option. There are so many variations of scams out there. This is a common conversation I have with my parents and family. I can't tell you enough how appreciative I am to Trilogy Media for the education I have gotten over these many years. Keep up the incredible work Art & Ashton, the entire Trilogy Media Team, Chappy & ModderPaul. You are modern day heros make a big difference in this world!
