The sad thing is... this scammer's English is the best I've heard from a scammer. The legitimate jobs she could have gotten instead of this with her language abilities... but she chose this.
That is quite a skill. I've seen a few scam baiters do this and it seems to be a combination of knowing when to ease back and to take advantage of scammer falling for the sunk cost fallacy regarding their time. It could also just be the result of selecting what is presented here as a video. When I've tried tormenting them, they hang up pretty quickly.
Of course! The world would be a better place if you simply said to scammers "Please don't do this to me! It's really not good manners to do this. You'll make me cry because I won't have the money to buy my grandchildren their Christmas presents." haha

for the first time I felt a bit sorry for a scammer. She might being forced to do that, she really seems too sweet for this type of "job" For a moment I though she was going to cry.

This isn't just entertainment, it's a public service. Every minute they spend talking to you is a minute they don't get to spend ripping off some vulnerable elderly person.
It will always be fun to hear scammers flip out, but the slow burning rage in her voice was amazing. The stink breath every time she sighs is such a good running joke! 😂

wow! i can't believe there's any scam call centers left, given harrassing them has become a national past time, and given all the public awareness and how many have been busted. if there are still any left i would like to get on the band wagon!
Given that there are tens of thousands of scammers and only a few hundred pro Scambaiters, yes there are still plenty left. The busts are done with great fanfare then scammers released soon after when the bribe is paid.
It makes me so mad that these freaking scammers think that EVERY American is okay with tax evasion as if that doesn't involve some serious consequences!
