@@randal_gibbons I used to listen to Phil on KFI back in the day. I would slow down just so I could hear as much of his show as I could. The only time I didn't mind getting stuck in traffic was if Phil was on the air. He would tell the audience exactly what he was doing. Said it didn't matter. Then take the next call from a lady complaining about his guest, who was a depressed priest who crucified himself on the air, during Christmas.

Interesting insight! I watch a lot of these channels and it's apparent from the comments that most Indians hate that their country has become synonymous with these scams.

@@krystalfloods6197 There's a ScammerRevolts video when he's doing the usual dumb hick character that he does to get them to connect to him, and the scammers start to get suspicious, and you hear one of them in the background suggest it's Kitboga, so they stop to check if it is Kit, but obviously SR's schtick is different, so the time they spend trying to figure out if it's Kit is the time he's using to delete their files and mess up their computer. There was also one of Kit's streams when the scammer asks him if he's Jim Browning, who until recently has just spoken to the scammers in his normal voice exclusively. While a few scammers have cottoned on to Edna and so we're seeing more characters, in general it seems they're aware of the most prominent scambaiters and might be able to spot some point along the line when they're being trolled, but they don't seem to know what to expect or necessarily who is who.

That happened on his live a week or so ago aswell!! They kept saying sir instead of ma'am and said your not a lady your kitboga using a voice changer! Lol

They're not targeting people who are familiar with computers, they're targeting people who don't know anything about computers, normally elderly. If I had no clue what a CMD line was I'd be too scared looking at the "hackers found" in all caps to look down a bit and read that the command doesn't actually exist. Hell, even if I DID see that line I wouldn't know what it would be going on about.

cmd is very old as it was used back in 1980's with the first computer on market. it came on 8" 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" floppy disks to start the computer and it was called dos ( disk operation system) there was up to 3 disks to install in the computers hard drive if you had one back in the days : they are still using some of commands todays computer's to fix some files which are missing or not loading right: i am guessing that one day cmd will not be on the hard drive and power shell will take over as it much powerful in fixing faults :- i did like dos a lot as did not need windows to load back in before windows 98se : hope this helps you take care and all best from ian :-)

@@ianarbery9601 Yep. And the best version of dos was 6.22 with windows 3.11 in the early 90's. The help file had over 150 dos commands with explanations that made it easy to create complex batch files. Oh, those were the days.

I’m a little torn. I like when Kit can get a legitimate laugh out of the scammers (happens occasionally), because it reminds me there is an actual human being on the other line with a personality, wants, dreams or what have you. But then I remember that they are praying on people who don't know any better and taking money from people who probably need it to survive. :/

That is because he felt like he was talking to a kindred spirit. The scammer was told by his prey that the prey intended on ripping him off. Likely not something he hears everyday.

Oh, there have been scammers who typed in the refund amount. Then the scammer said he made a mistake, and would lose his job if Kitboga didn't get the gift cards. Pretty sure Kitboga then went on a tangent to make the scammer's boss say he would not fire the scammer.

He always "falls for the scam", because the scammers are only stealing money from a bank account that isn't real. He's not really getting scammed, he's just wasting their time and letting them think they've scammed him.
