Scarborough Fair performed by George Sakellariou on a David Schramm guitar (Clovis, CA). Produced by Marc Blake, Sword of Creation Video Productions. Arranged by Ben Bolt and revised by George Sakellariou
Whoa! Love those harmonics. Couldn't imagine it being used all throughout the song. I give 3-minute Standing Ovation for this performance alone. Thank God there's George.
Ben Bolt Ben, I took lessons from you a thousand years ago in Knoxville! This is a wonderful arrangement and beautifully played b GS. I still play your Christmas arrangements every december! Thanks!
Hey Ben! I almost took lessons from you at Broadway back in like '93 but was too big a slacker to commit. Still regret it...I still know some of the beginner/intermediate pieces from your books though. Thanks!
+al mor George speaks perfect English an Spanish. So go ahead and write to him in English. George was is and will be a great sensitive guitarist. Segovia's favorite student.
(out of all the how to play scarborough-fair videos) yours is the only one I can hear the main notes clearly form the rest of them. It was beautifully put together. I came here to see if I can hear the doted note in yours and I can. Thank you for taking the time to do that! I first heard this song done by "Leaves' Eyes" about tree-four years back and I loved it! they are a sophonic Metal band. I love Celtic too
Truly fantastic. I close my eyes and your arrangement sounds like there are at least two (if not three) guitars playing. The David Schramm guitar is also a beauty. My most sincere congratulations to you both: Maestro Sakellariou, and Luthier Schramm.
