Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (ソニックアドベンチャー2 バトル Sonikku Adobenchā Tsū Batoru?) is the enhanced port of the Dreamcast video game Sonic Adventure 2. It was released on December 2001 in Japan and 2002 elsewhere for the Nintendo GameCube, making it the first Sonic game to be released for the said console (or any Nintendo console for that matter). This port includes a variety of exclusive new features and alongside with several changes.

Oh man! I did the city escape truck one by accident while looking for secrets. When I was younger, I would always taunt it. Told my sister's the game knew who was playing and because I had beaten it, all enemies including the truck were scared of me.

6:11 - I learned about this either from A+Start or MikeyTaylorGaming. I don't remember who detailed it, but they did a good job. Basically, the game sets an invalid next-level flag when the Chao Key animation is in progress. The next-level flag points to the Chao World after the key has turned into a sprite, but when the animation is unfinished, it points to level 00, which just happens to be a beta-testing level.

2:15 I remember doing this glitch before If you go back to the garden after triggering it all of your chao will be under the ground in the swimming animation, sounds included. Picking them up fixes it, but it's still odd.

I don't know if anyone in the comments has mentioned this, but with the glitch at about 2:17 if there are any Chao waddling around in the garden when you do it, they'll start swimming through the grass as if it was water. They don't seem to stop unless you pick them up either. (I did this in the Gamcube version by the way, no idea about the other versions. Also, I don't know if they stop once they reach the pool, none of my Chao every did that...)

I'd imagine that the Chao Key glitch happens because it was originally taking you to the next stage (or the stage select screen) However, by collecting the Chao Key *after* finishing the level, it interrupted the process and attempted to take you to both the Chao Garden AND the next stage (or stage select, again) Since it didn't know what to do, it sent you to the first room it could think of - the Test Level. Of course, all this is just speculation, so take it with a grain of salt :)

I'm surprised that one glitch with Final Chase where repeatedly using the homing attack on a certain jump pad with cause Shadow to loop his jump animation without the yellow effect. There's also another one where Shadow will just glitch through the floor and keep falling until he loses a life or lands on a rail.

Actually, in the Steam version, if you do the Chao Key glitch after some multiplayer, it'll transport you to the last stage you played in multiplayer.

Alexworld same is true for GameCube and the PS3 port, for added fun, if you pick a mission that can be completed in a wrong level, you can move the glitch to your file screen, Mine Displays Knuckles and Sky Rail

Sorry just now saw this video, but 2 more glitches to add, if you take an animal or core charge from certain enemies, and stand a certain distance from a chao you can duplicate the item you give them by dropping the item right in front of them. The other glitch if your willing to waste as much time as I did, if you take a gold or silver chao from sonic DX and breed it with a jewel chao in sonic 2 battle, you get a transparent (ghost) chao born the the egg

The chao key glitch happens because the game loads what stage the key should take you to when it become the 2D icon. By skipping this you get sent to stage 0, which so happens to be the test stage.

Number 1: for the sonic test stage glitch, you can just charge a spindash and wait for control to be taken away. Sonic will preform the spindash just as the game fades out. In the gamecube, knuxs Can Also Get too the Test stage By preforming the glitch that Has Him Hunt in the CHAo GArden
