I remember scaring the crap out of my cat one night. I laughed. And two hours after I had settled into my chair to read a horror book while there was a thunderstorm going on outside, she got me back. She waited until I was really tense on a particular scary part and attack my foot. I literally jumped and screamed. She fell over and was helpless with laughter. We would get each other like this all time. Until she became old and I stopped. She didn't stop though. I miss her so much. I wish she was still here with me
When I was 12 I was reading this book on the different bigfoots that were reported around the world. I was at the section on the abominable snowman, it's one that the Inuit say has white hair. I'm sitting in a chair in the living room and out of the corner of my eye I see this white hair thing coming towards me. I jumped so high my head almost hit the ceiling and I'm sure I did a 12 yr old boy scream. After I landed I looked back and there was my cat. My white furred cat. He was sitting there looking at me like "You okay?". His name was Tom and was one the strongest and coolest cats I've ever seen.
I love how tolerant the one cat is when the owner is singing while holding the flower-- then the owner puts the flower on the cats head, and it's like the cat has a moment of pure existential epiphany "WHAT IN GODS NAME IS ON MY HEAD!! WHAT DO I DO?!" LOL...

Some of this, I feel, is just sadistic to cats just for people to snicker and laugh and get their own jollies; taunting and scaring them for your own jollies. Cats aren't here for this; they have their dignity and not to be looked at as a clown, to be forced to wear costumes. Truly bonding with a cat, dog, bird etc. is what it's all about. We should respect cats as they are and always try more and more to understand them and what they're trying to tell us or are feeling. My roomate's cat will run down the hallway, when I call his name, to see me off to work. He'll swat me with his paw, claws retracted, when I pet him good-bye. He doesn't want me to go and is upset. He has such a sad look. He'll jump up on my loft bed and a lot of times lay down face to face with me and fall asleep, or sleep at the end of my bed. Our pets aren't our circus animals for our jollies. And neither are circus animals!

@@Lilithlll All animals have a spirit/soul. Cats, dogs, horses, deer, pigs, cows, birds, chickens, turkeys etc. They are "aware" in a different way than we humans can understand.

I was expecting cats scaring themselves and their owners actually stressing them. It's ok if you and the cat are playing, but not deliberate like 80% of these.
When I was a kid, I frightened a cat and he ran up my legs, up my chest, and over my head. I was bitten about 10 times. Very painful and a lesson learned the hard way.
it is kind of sick to get cats into this state of fear just for laughs as cats can go into state of shock that they can run away and hide and stay hiding in shock which results in too shocked to eat n drink which results in death!! im no a snowflake i laugh at anything but i dont laugh at stupid adults geting laughs at the expense of their pets health and all for the sake of sick minded social media!!!
@@009Robbie yea its one thing if they get scared on their own or something random, but to intentionally provoke them is not cool. Its funny at first, but when you think about it its pretty fucked. Everyone saying otherwise would sing a different tune if a cop was harassing them just because they enjoyed the power trip, then what would they say? I notice how their natural instinct is to jump really high. Must be an instinctive defense for if a predator suddenly went for them. The predator would end up going under them.
I mean...I DO, honestly, with some of these, but, some cats tend to be really high strung. I have this one cat named Tulip and the poor thing is such a sell shocked little basket case that when it's quiet I can't even fart without her bolting for cover like I let off a hand grenade. It's sad but also funny at the same time.
Yeah I do. I clicked on this thinking it was people who caught their cat suddenly startled or afraid of something by surprise. Which can be cute I guess. But not this. I guess I'd be considered weird by some of the people in this video, but if my cat or my dogs gets frightened I do everything I can to reassure them it's alright and the calm them down. It breaks my heart if I frighten them unintentionally, which is very rare even. But this kind of stuff is just cruel man. Anyway, got about 57 seconds in, read a couple comments, and I'm out. Disliked. Be good to your pet friends. Their lives are way too short.
