Never watched SC2 before, and was amazing. By the way, this community has to stop caring if Scarlett is transgendered or not. Coming from outside and seeing all this bullshit made me very disgusted. She is an incredible player, human, and that is it.
Why does it matter so much if she's trans or not? Why do we have to be such narrow-minded bunch of cis. Just respect what she wants to be called. The world is complicated enough.

It's all because of the new (now not as new) google+ comment rating system, these highly rated popular comments would've been buried under the dirt if youtube still had it's old system. The problem is that it considers these type of comments as popular because they get a lot of attention and lots of replies, but succeful trolls will always get a lot of replies, and that is something google has yet to address and why the new system was and still is hated by many.
What's most impressive about Scarlett is that she's one of the few Zerg players who can be behind in supply, yet still hang on. Most Zergs -have- to be ahead in supply, or else it snowballs, and while that's still true for Scarlett, she looks like she's on the verge of a comeback after every engagement.
And I was just about to tell,that I love how this community is no sexist at all... Props to the casters,though,and everyone there.But internet will always be the shithole of this world
The Match was AMAZING from start to finish. I expected Bomber and his famous MMM to crush 4 straight, but I never expected that I would witness the best Zerg play I have ever imagined. And most of it was MMM vs LBM! A true showcase of skill, and incredibly captivating. Best TvZ I have ever watched.
gave up to easily at the end and i don't really have a lot of respect for terran players because it is too easy of a race to play and win, i have literally won matches with terran in under 10 minutes to cheap a race and why so many people will gg early
SilversRylai213 Terran is the hardest race at higher levels imo. In order to counter the macro of a zerg, the terran needs great cost efficiency. Against protoss, you need great cost efficiency + great positioning and countering (Ghosts/vikings). The wrong amount, wrong read of your opponent, and bad micro means an almost guarunteed loss. Good job playing terran in bronze and winning in under 10 mins... Scrub

The comments calling Scarlet a guy and defying her wish to be considered female are insensitive, that is true. I'd hope Scarlet is not as easily offended as you. However there is no reason to try to cover up the fact that she was born male, either. People who are saying she's a girl and that's that are also oversimplifying the truth.

that last game... bomber's tactic was faster play, he realized that his gameplay is a lot stronger if he starts with aggression instead of starting it at a later point in the game. bomber's idea is too keep scarlet on her toes and solidifying his macro so he can move in for the kill on the woren out scarlet. good shit
Well said, I agree with you completely. Being to change things up so drastically in the midst of such a nail biting, action packed series is truly amazing. Especially against a fearsome opponent like Scarlett. On a side note. It's such a pity the comment section is pulluted with degenerate internet-kid-scum. We could all be having conversations about the games, but instead... I wish there was some kind of age restricion or or other measures put into place to get rid of these nasty ... people(

bltnxkrw shows what you know vikings are a great counter to mutts marines would be less of a counter due to the bounce passive of their attack and mines aren't much of a counter cuz of their cd on attacks thors could be viable but a skirmish formation of vikings would own mutts
It's true. I do think that terran has it easy here. It would be nice if terran was forced to switch up their strategy once in a while. I think the bigger problem is that medivacs are a bit too strong and mutas a bit too vulnerable, and ultras are a bit too risky, and vipers are a bit too situational. Giving zerg better ways to flank efficiently or forcing terran another unit type in the matchup would be nice.
ffhighwind Viper Clouds are a lot harder to micro out of than it is to micro away from Banelings, the micro to get out of clouds are completely different and underdeveloped. Not to mention, Vipers are easy to keep alive, so after 2-3 Blind Clouds a Viper has paid for itself and still lives, where a Baneling dies when it detonates and 70% of the time it doesn't pay for itself.

All terran mindsets: If its zerg marines and widow mines, if its protoss marines and mauraders, and if its terran marines and tanks, early game get marines, mid game get marines, late game get marines, if playing ahead get marines, if playing behind get marines, if I am playing then marines (because my creativity is about as extensive as the guy who made pet rock)
well damn terran units has been getting nerfed since the first month of SOL starting with the siege tank then has been nerfing the race into to the ground ever since so what's a terran to do hmm well they haven't nerfed the good ole marine so fuck off.
khav99 and this is why only 6 of last years 36 World champion series events was won by a terran. They refuse to change their tactics and get destroyed. This is also why in the 2012 Battle.net World championships only 4 terran (out of 32 entries) even qualified. Also none of those terran placed.
+Dean Smith Ok, what happends if you select a group of 50 marines, split them into two smaller groups and run them into the enemy - you get totally oblitterated - but if you do the same with zerglings and banelings, you can almost win any battle (agains terran that is).
They don't give a fuck about "creativity". No one would win shit if they focused on creativity. It's a numbers game and marines prove time and time again to be most effective. They don't care what you want to see in THEIR games nor what the fuck is creative. They're doing it for the money just like you would. They study these numbers and timings for years. I know for a damn fact if you were a pro gamer you wouldn't throw in Marauders and Tanks against a Zerg going Muta/Ling/Bane just for the sake of looking "creative". You want creativity? Look at their APM, both of theirs reach over 600 to be able to do those sick ass splits/moves/focus fires that all happen literally within milliseconds while also expanding at the same time. Get the fuck over what units they choose, it won't change. Just enjoy the damn game like everyone else.
A lot of people cheer for Scarlett just because she's a girl. It's a fucking disgrace. She is a godlike SC2 player, but literally everytime she plays, everyone cheers wildly for her while her opponents usually get one or two guys going "Yeah!". If she would have won this series, everyone would be jumping off their chairs with semen dripping down their legs. Instead, we got the retarted golf clap when Bomber won.

I just now realized... swarm-hosts vs marine bio... Were they even introduced yet at that point? Or did Scarlet simply not use them? So anyway, it looks like Bomber had the advantage. Marines will be marines, but Scarlet had to have the better micro with those banelings on a case by case basis. Certainly the renewable swarm-hosts would have helped to compliment her mutalisks as she struggled with Bomber's never-ending advance...! (?)
Those banelings really felt like a stop-gap measure against those marines a lot of the time. Without army-killing through them, they were only a temporary solution to the Terran advance. Those mines, on the other hand... had a lot of expensive targets, and she had to constantly watch her step. It was almost a foregone conclusion that she would stumble eventually, I suppose. Those disposable swarm hosts might have been valuable in preventing Bomber from trading so consistently economically.
+SonOfNenji Maybe. I later saw her make that switch against an Australian Terran named Iaguz and he totally fell apart against it. The problem with swarmhosts though is that they're immobile, so you need a lot of chokes and have to really watch out for drops. I think it was a mistake that she never made a single Infestor throughout the entire series. For some reason she always delays making the Infestation pit, maybe because she doesn't have a build that can get her there before the marine-parade without sacrificing creep spread and macro. But infestors stop all units in their tracks, including marines and medivacs, and do stacking damage. IIRC she used this in her rematch with Bomber at Red Bull Battlegrounds a couple months after this.
That first game was Starcraft Sexiness itself on Scarlett's part. That creepy spread covering half of the map, and that first engagement timed so perfectly when he ground upgrades clicked and Bomber only had 1-1, and her air attacked clicked mid fight. From there, it was just a matter of out-macroing him and constantly pummeling him with zerglings, using that massive creep highway. Game 2 was a perfect response. Bomber plays more aggressively, keeps Scarlett down, and does not let her get into the unstoppable position she was in during game 1. Game 3, again, Bomber's aggression pays off, this time utilizing medivac drop play that he's so famous for. Perhaps one of the best of his kind at doing so, he made it so Scarlett never really had a 3rd base, preventing her from using her macro that SHE is famous for. Game 4, Finally, Scarlett makes the decision to use counter aggression to cut down Bomber's aggressive macro and give her map control, as well as some breathing space. Denying those expansions and destroying those CC's made that game for her. Game 5, Scarlett held off that strange opening with such incredible, cost efficient engagements and if they had kept up, she was in more than well enough a position to get back in the game. But, alas, that opening, failure though it was as an aggression, did contain Scarlett, preventing her from counterattacking. With an economic disadvantage like that, even the most cost efficient engagements possible, which she absolutely had going for her, meant nothing to a superior production. Just one bad engagement; one poor decision; and it tipped it permanently in Bomber's favor. A stellar game by both players, and I'm not disappointed by Scarlett's loss at all. She played incredibly, and represented Canada and NA very well. Great series.
have you been a pro, semi-pro, careered gamer? you dress as comfortable as possible. your adrenaline will be going, you might even start sweating, your arms and hands have to be unconstrained as much as possible, and keep a good posture to keep the blood and oxygen flowing smoothly to your head. if she walked out with makup, high heals, and a mini skirt, if she didnt practice and train wearing something like that, then she most likely will not play her best. its about practicality.

I feel sorry for women. 1960's and before women weren't aloud to do jobs to be role models for young girls. Generally it was men. Now after they have fought and crawled their way to the top, now a man can ask to be called a woman and be the role model for them. It's so sad. Men more and more are playing female sports and crushing their records they worked so hard for because we need to be PC. It's truly saddening.

The first game is a real good showcase of just how weak the zerg is she is up DOUBLE supply and non stop attacking and still takes like 10mins to kill him...ANY other race would have won in 30seconds with double supply...
Misstake nr:1 that ALL zerg player does against the OP-EZmode Terrans is that they don't build air-units to deal with the early medivacs... always always prepare for Medivac-drops.
Who cares wtf Scarlett is, she is an amzing sc2 player and makes money doing something everyone watching this video loves. And if u dont then u shouldnt be watching the wcs videos anyway. I'm here to watch amazing people play agame that i love and wish to improve at, not talk about the players personal lives.
also for the people casting this game, stop scrolling around the map, when you click to the action it looks 100000x better for spectators watching. when you scroll around the map it makes me want to throw up, so stop doing it
