fifth game was the best game ever in my opinion. i'm a byun fanboy but that game was insane! Also look at the army supply in game 3. buyn is 20 down and still wins. insane play!

Gota be honest... I thought the heyday of sc2 competitive play was vanilla and first expansion. After the 2nd expansion regular ladder play kinda died out a bit, for me ... last time I was a master player was on the first (zerg expo)...

true. Usually the commentators are annoying me, but here they were great.

He reminds me of lilbow(but better ofc), only make cheesy/all ins strats and have such a good micro that he still wins or deal enough dmg to get ahead despite his strat. His micro is insane and impressive but tbh I prefer players like Dark who also have great multitask and macro skills, and can play every kind of strategies. I find players with various styles much more interesting to watch that someone having such a good micro that his bane focus make the fight imba, because game can't be balanced expecting people having such insane micro so banes are not supposed to get rekt like this. A totally deserved win by Byun, who won a gsl teamless, even if no real need of team strategic advices when you rely mostly on micro, but it's not the kind of games I like to watch. I also fear for him that a drastic change in playstyle due to updates just destroy his career (as lotv for lilbow), so gl to him in the future.

There are players with arguably the same or better micro than ByuN over the history of SCBW and SC2, I didn't see anything extraordinary here for a top korean T

@@guillaumeduchamp989 His micro isn't imba, the zerg can be better with the positioning and strategy of his banelings. Attack from multiple directions and setup traps. Byun is simply better and comparing lilbow to Byun is extremely disrespectful. Especially considering that Lilbow plays Protoss.

Maru is my favorite terran. But he has been overshadowed by Byun and TY for sometime. Even Innovation is playing well now. Maru needs to perform better.

Terran has always been like that. There are always a few players that shines, but the rest really struggles. I think it comes down to the game design. Terran units are general incredibly fragile, high mobility and high damage units. This means you MUST have an extremely high apm and multitasking ability to succeed (well, you need them as protoss and zerg too, but to a lesser extent). This means only the most talented few can do it and rest struggles.

Zerg muta ling bane is at least as hard to play, super weak units, need to split against mines, need circle, and creepspread/injects un addtion of normal macro. Aldo if the terran is good enough you cant do anything. The problem is when terrans have rly good micro like Byun who basically reliés on his perfect micro, they just focus your banes and are able to retarget widow mines at the last moment, and if the terran does this the zerg can micro perfectly and will just get stomped (cf this blizzcon). Mech terran however is easier to play but can only make those insane focus with tanks and not whole army. Anyway you cant say terran "strugles", the game has become super hard and punishing for everyone, starcraft is basically a hard game, and harder with each extension.

well, they had to jail Life to get a terran winner if they jail Dark Nerchio Solar and Rogue too you might get your no-zerg final
