Scary Earthquake on New Year's in my Japanese In-Laws House

Every year we try to visit my Japanese wife’s parents house on New Year's Eve so we can spend New Year’s dinner together. It’s kind become a family tradition for us here in Japan. This New Year we have grandpa and grandma as well as Maiko's sister and her husband. It was a great to spend time together but on New Year's day, we had an scary earthquake in Japan in the Ishikawa prefecture which we also felt in Aichi.
