Hi JK. I was born there. I always wanted to see inside over the years. It's in worse shape than I imagined. So dilapidated that it needs demolished. I'm sure if I was with you I might have got the creeps, but I didn't see anything that made me believe it's haunted. It just looks dangerous to me. I don't know if the asbestos has been removed but it was full. I drive by a lot as the grandkids go to school around the corner. They don't pay attention anymore but I just see it as an eyesore. Many of the old buildings and houses have been and are being restored. I don't think the old hospital stands a chance, it's in bad shape. Officials could never agree on what to do with it I suppose.
I live in Flemingsburg Ky,approximately 30 minutes from Maysville,this is a really creepy building, my fiance has remodeled alot of the old buildings surrounding this hospital, they give a creepy vibe!!

Yep!!! Pretty eerie, creepy, but interesting! Would love to know more history about the hospital, why it closed, etc... Was waiting for someone to jump out from behind a wall! Been in a lot of old abandoned houses but not a hospital! Great job on catching the heartpoundings of solo exploration!
Okay, a few mistakes here. #1, Never ever explore anywhere, alone! If you were to seriously injure yourself, you'd be out of luck. You could bleed to death. #2, Carry a backpack and put a first aid kit inside, (gauze, ointment, ect), along with some bottles of water, and nutritious snacks. #3, Wear work or heavy-duty hiking boots! Sneakers are a major NO-NO! What if you stepped on a nail? #4, Wear a construction mask!!! Breathing in all that asbestos certainly isn't healthy!! #5, Carry a good flashlight with extra batteries. #6, Bring a maker of some sort so you can mark your path, so you can easily find your way out.
I live 15 min from there and we ride by it the fair on the back of my neck stands up. I’m retired fire/EMS so I’ve been to the morgue at 3am… I’ve been in some crazy places but when I moved here 4 yrs ago I hated this place from first sight… it has something very dark in it!!
I live in vanceburg ky 30 minutes away from Maysville and I would never go in there that place is way to haunted for me my great aunt worked there and even she said there was plenty of places in there she wouldn't go in there exactly at night
Hey not sure if anyone noticed but around the 1:16-1:17 mark at the very beginning something flys right above his head super fast from right to left. Someone needs to slow it down frame by frame and see what the hell that was!
You better Becareful going in there if you get caught by the cops you will be charged . I also had a friend that when in there at night and they said it was really scary and they took pictures and you could see stuff in them .
Check through the channel, we have tons of videos of the area. This one I accessed on my own. I would check out the mushroom mikes in Lawton KY. I did a video there too. Russell, KY also has an abandoned YMCA that is huge. I have also done a video there too
@AmericanXplorers yeah it is a fascinating city. Coming from little ol Adelaide in Australia I was told "don't go there" but that just makes me go "yep gotta go there" 😂. I loved Baltimore despite it's reputation and so much to see there exploring wise 💯🏚
