Towards the end of this video, your guest asked what the TM3's equivalent MPG was, and the answer you gave was the standard "MPGe" energy-equivalent. I have an alternative way of arriving at an "MPG" figure for an EV that focuses directly on what it is that (at least, in my opinion) the people who ask this are actually interested in, which is "how does the cost of driving this compare to a gas car?". So, what I do is compute a "miles per dollar" metric for the EV, by dividing its miles per kWh performance by the "dollars per kWh" price of recharging energy. Four miles/kWh is a good rule of thumb for an EV, and my off-peak utility rate is about $0.045/kWh; that's about 89 miles/$. Multiply that by the current price of gas in dollars per gallon, and you get the EV's "MPGf", or financial MPG. Gas hereabouts is just beginning to drop below 4$/gal, where the EV was doing about 356MPG by my reckoning.

Go ahead and swap out the air filter yourself. They will develop and awful smell and changing them really helps with that. Installation isn’t hard and you can get the filters on Amazon.

Butts in (comfy) seats! again! So glad you are doing this... just so amazing to me, that Teslas have so much power on tap, yet also so smooth, and w/ such finesse and sensitivity, you can drive it calmly and baby it.. then punch it! Baby & a beast, at the same time. I loved this time @11:38 you showed voice-command navigation, and how easily the nav plots out the route and charging stops... that's UNIQUE for Tesla and really reassure people about the range anxiety and charging time FUD (they always hear takes hours, hard to find on phone apps, etc) People get it's a fast car (not REALLY get until they get soul-snatched!), but.. they have no idea about the charging. I zoom out on the map and show ALL the red dots for superchargers... eyes get big, and they say, "oh. ok. yeah, not a problem!" @14:10 haha yup, that's where the "don't blame me for wanting to buy one after testing" waiver comes in! :)

Important disclosures: the wall connector is now $400, and can also be purchased from Best Buy ;) (Tesla OR j1772 connector, even). The mobile connector also no longer comes with the car.
