I started the Race 2 of Malaysian Championship Series Round 1 2015 (9/3/2015) from the back of the grid, because I had tyre puncture in previous race and finish last. So according to regulation, I have to start at the back for Race 2.
I was driving Proton Neo 1.6 L N/A built by Tedco Racing in MTC Class. But this race was a 3-classes race. So beside our class, there are also 2.0 L N/A class (Civic, Integra, etc.) and Clio Cup with 1.6L Turbo. So basically our car was the lowest spec car. They mixed those classes into 1 race because it is the supporting race of F1, where racing time is really limited.
But because all those 3 classes have different power and handling characteristic, mixing them together in 1 race with total of 49 cars was just the perfect recipe for disaster.
As you can see in my onboard video, how scary the race was. I thank God I still can finish in 1 piece, and grab 3rd place overall and 1st place in Independent Cup category.
