Some of us born in American are quite found of Scottish culture and history. My last name is a surname of Clan Keith and I love to learn all that I can about the Scottish people and their history. I hope that when I finally trace my family tree all the way back it will lead to Scotland. Alba Gu Brath!!! Scotland 2014!!!!
That was awesome! Proud to say I come from Scottish heritage and if I were on the other end of the battlefield hearing that coming.... I would just give up!
Just wanted to let you know what a gift you have given me. I came across this a couple of months and am now a total fan of Clandonia. They rock. I play their music for everyone i know and it just blows everyones mind. If not for you I may never have known of them. Thankyou.
Bad name? Personally, i find this wonderful. This, my Scottish friends, is why you should be proud!! If only my country can feel as much pride in our own heritage as the Scotsmen do...
If you want to know what a true highland clan is like, here it is,especially partyin or celidh , man it is sooo much better than rap music, this music has soul.We are the Indians in Scotland :)
The tune to this was also used in an Ireland Euro 2012 song I remember it being sung and played in Poland but I can't remember the name Ireland and Scotland

It sounds like their tune called "The Gael". If you look to the top right of this page you should so a link to them playing in in Glasgow, Buchannan Street.
Are you a Scottish Loyalist or an Irish Loyalist who thinks there British and lives in North Ireland, myself being from Ireland I think Scotland should be amazingly proud about this it's an important part of Scotland's heritage.
When the English set about disarming the Highlands, they actually considered the pipes to be a weapon of war. Highlanders without pipes were bad enough. Highlanders with pipes. . . MOTHER!!!!
Close your eens and pretend you're in your house, then all you hear is this getting closer and closer. Most folk wouldnae be ashemd to admit they'd let their bowels blow.
Fun fact about the Celts: their rank-and-file would quite often go into battle naked for the simple reason that their clothes were so filthy that getting wounded while wearing them would practically guarantee infection. So, when you hear these drums, pretend that you're a Roman Legionnaire. You're looking at thousands of painted men howling in an alien language, and they're stark naked. These drums don't scream "I'm going to kill you." They whisper "When I catch you, I'm going to fuck you."
Stormycast, Electric is right. There were no kilts in Roman times, it only goes back to the 16th century and bagpipes in Scotland didn't appear until the 13th or 14th century in Scotland (though ironically the Romans might have had them). So the image of naked Scots warriors is probably right. They certainly didn't wear kilts and play bagpipes in ancient times!
@Michaelhendry14 - Of course you can, Michael. Thanks for asking, glad you like it. My only regret is that I didn't let the camera run longer for a fuller clip.
Imagine what the Neighbours would think if these guys where playing at 2am in your living room haha floors and walls vibrating hahaha You would probs see them in the middle of the road in their pyjamas on their mobiles calling the police for assistance lol Awesome!
