When you arrive at the Crazy Horse Memorial and park, it makes sense to do the bus ride tour first before going in the visitor center.
Departing from the Parking Lot
The journey starts here, heading towards the monumental Crazy Horse. Purchase your ticket from the booth for $5/person and board the bus. Sit on the Driver's Side to get the best view of the Crazy Horse Monument as it comes into view from a distance. You'll learn about its history along the way, which adds to the experience.
At the Base
Experience the awe of standing at the base of this colossal statue. The bus stops here for 5 to 10 minutes, allowing ample time to admire, take pictures, and capture video.
Returning to the Parking Lot
After experiencing the monument up close at its base, the bus returns directly to the parking lot. The entire tour lasts approximately 30 minutes. It's a worthwhile experience that we highly recommend.
