drove it september 2014, so wonderful/ absolutely take this side route rather than the interstates if you are traveling across /Utah

I did visit 12 during 2015. I watch this video to relive the things (among other videos from /u/AmericanRoads). Blessed are the people who live in this part of the world.

How is this route typically in December? Or in snow?

Depends where you’re at I’d assume. Some parts reach over 10,000 feet, that surely would be difficult, plus steep grades, twisty road, and fairly narrow roads. That being said I’m not sure how they treat or plow roads on UT12

Great video. I know 90%of these places. Little disappointed because you did not show the most beautiful spot in Universe- Head of the Rocks.

Thank you for your great video. Did you read about how all those rocks were formed? Imagine that this region was like Egypt and the Sahara: 100s of millions of years ago. Vast sand dunes, rivers flowing into oceans. Ocean levels changing and environments too! enormous deltas becoming covered with sand dunes, which were buried beneath stream deposits.
