I realized I probably should have talked about how I was only on 3 rabbits, as that can stick out to most people. With library I was never missing the card draw in the 75 games or so sample size I had and it still isn't something I would add. Its also important to make Sisu as bad as possible because all of our weenies die if they shift sisu on 6 in red blue.
would be awesome if we could get a breakdown of turns or plays, cause I have been trying the deck and I'm struggling. green steel with morph in beast shift felt so bad and not seeing elsa vs diablo made my deck so much better for them. again I'm not blaming the deck I'm blaming the pilot so if I can get a breakdown maybe I can understand how I'm supposed to play this cause it really isnt that tempo.
Love the video. The Genie tech is awesome, I am definitely going to give it a try in testing this week. I know the whole consistency thing with 60 card decks, but have you ever considered going to 61 or 62 with this deck? I find myself struggling to keep my list down to exactly 60 and end up being at 62 most of the time to get everything I want in with the correct numbers.
@@regaliakeebs1954 it’s super hard to keep this deck at 60 cuz like you mentioned there are so many tools you want to add. However I am one of the 60 card believers because it just hurts the consistency too much. Even if you try over 60 it may feel good in the short term but in the long run the variance will get you.
Hi, I’d need to test with it more but I don’t love that you have to shift it in order to to get the effect and then you lose the effect of whatever Merlin you shifted onto. However I could see the scenarios where you need to find your 1 answer in a deck and how it could help you do that.
Hello ! Playin Blupurple since Set 5. Ive been changing deck each season but I really enjoy Blupurple .. im happy to finally play Elsa from set 1. Slighty minor change i migh try it -1 Crab , -1 Mickey add +1 Lucky Dime and +1 Kuzco or Hideaway +1 Cog as Tech card. Lucky Dime could be really efficient against R/P because they dont have any item removal and we've big body to trigger Dime Mim Dragon / Mufasa / Elsa / Ursula ... If you consider remove 2x Mcdo Mansion.. it would give space to add +1 Donald +1 Mim Dragon .. or maybe Magica de spell could be needed against Discard deck .. but on the other side.. i dont think YG Discard can be play by everyone like Bucky E/S was. I thought when you talking about Peter Pan it was more about Peter Pan - Shadow Finder .. Cost 3 Noninkable.. 2-3 Rush-Evasive... One deck i consider hard to play or I dont know how to counter it's Emerald Steel Ping version w/ Robin Hood - Diablo - Beast - Tinker Bell - Grab any tips ? In the future set , new legendary Merlin will be useful if we've better target to shift on... Kinda feel bad to shift on Goat or Rabbid atm.
Not super sure about dime, I feel like Mufasa kinda of does what dime does but with a body attached. Its hard for us to have enough tempo to just play a 7 cost item and pass, I think in situations we can do that we were probably already winning. We dont have the be prepared or Big sisu that RB has to afford the tempo loss. Just my opinion though, play what you enjoy playing.
Forgot to answer about matchups, Good matchups id say are anything that has purple in it and aggro decks. The only matchups that I feel are super bad for us are Yellow green discard and a Red blue pilot that knows the matchup. Steelsong is a little swingy too cuz I dont think any deck beats its high roll.
@@freedomgaming4392 It just edit my whole initial respond haha I understand your point of view about the Dime, but from my perspective, if you happen to draw it by chance in your mulligan or early in the game, you can ink it with Tipo. When you play Mufasa, it's even better if you're lucky enough to find the lucky dime; if not, it's not a big deal.
I see you added Dreaming Guardian Aurora into the deck list. May I ask you, why not just run 4x Library and 4x Donald instead for consistency or even 2x kuzco?
Can you speak to the exclusion of Mim Elephant? You mention it when you discuss how little cogsworth could be good, though you don’t like elephant. Just curious why. Also, woul you considered a mix of gramma tala and rabbit? Better strength and inkability?Thoughts on 6 drop Gaston? Good quester and card draw/search. Same question for vision of the future. And very last, thoughts on OJA? Going from 2-4 ink > than 3-5? Glad to see another blurple enthusiast, though I’d lobby to switch the name to AmePhire 😂
Good questions, I have never been a fan of the elephant because she doesn't have rush on her own and bouncing something with 4 ink is a lot to invest with not enough upside on the elephant itself(in comparison to something like mim dragon). Now if you add cogs and can make her a rush character that definitely takes away my biggest complaint on the card and I do think she would help some steel matchups. Could even add blue cogs to shift onto the 1 drop to give everything resist as well but that may be too niche of a scenario/gameplan. I think Tala would be ok if we had 4 cost songs we were playing like how RB decks were playing her to be able to sing how far ill go the turn after playing her. Since shes not the most impactful play on 4 I just think rabbit is the better card. Even though I am at 3 instead of 4 I would not go lower because it is a very powerful card. At worst you are drawing 2 cards with it. If rabbit were blue I dont think RB would have ever played tala imo. Since we go from 5-7 ink in a lot of games, and because of Mufasa on turn 8 I wanted to make my big bombs 7 ink and more and I dont think Gaston is better than any of the cards currently included in the list. As for visions its hard for us to play actions that dont immediately effect the board, like in blue red they have get out of jail free cards like be prepared and big sisu, we dont have that luxury so its important for us to continue to play to board. Pretty much the same answer on OJA all of our ramp leaves bodies behind that we can either sing friends with or use our crabs to take some good trades. Thanks again for the questions!
Hello Hazed! Many thanks for your video and sharing your thoughts on your deck. I played it tonight (im from France) at my locals, that Genie did some work, loved it! It was tough against blue steel but the rest was nice. Question for you, regarding de overall mulligan situation. Do you hard Mulligan for Tipo? And what would you do when you have tipo and mickey in hand after mulligan? Do you play turn 2 tipo and still turn 3 mickey? Or some other characters like rabbit? @@enzoperez1351 Hi Enzo, that is super awesome to hear that you played this all the way in France and had some success with the list. Glad to see Genie worked for you too! As for mulligan I do mulligan pretty aggressively for either tipo or Mickey if I have one in my opener I typically don’t mulligan too hard from there. As far as when you have both in really depends on if I have a really good turn 4 like library and loading tipo in or if I draw into Donald I will ink Mickey with tipo. Also depends on how many inkables/uninkables are in the hand. Hopefully this helps!!
@@freedomgaming4392 many thanks for your feedback! I'll keep that in mind, playing again tonight. I did take out the 2 Manors as I feel I will most of the time never play it. Replaced them with 1 mim dragón and 1 kuzco, to test it out.

@@guy22224444 I actually think this is one of our best matchups. With fox, crab, and Elsa while ramping we can answer their board and play big characters that just completely out tempo them. Lyle can be a little annoying same with the emerald chromicon but still very much in our favor. Genie and Ursula are also crazy in the deck when playing against them.
@@freedomgaming4392 Is it just me or is the red blue matchup hopeless? Also, generally speaking, this deck doesn't have a way to respond to a wide board. You pretty much lose on the spot.
@@guy22224444 genie locking them out is an option as far as wide board goes. As for red blue I definitely don’t think it’s hopeless. It’s hard on the draw for sure but generally pretty good for us on the play. Yellow green discard however feels hopeless lol
@@Marredplatypus 1/3s are great for steelsong and even other aggro decks especially with the 4 crabs problem is we don’t really wanna bounce them on turn 2 with mim like you would in a red purple deck. But with aggro dying down a little I teched more into playing the cycling 1drops to find my big bombs and the ink/ramp to get there. I’ve felt that gameplan has actually helped my steelsong matchup but your experience could be different.
Instead of Mickey had you considered Belle? I realize she would come down a turn later, but she's a great threat late. Since you're playing Mufasa knowing what you're inking could be a better advantage.
@@Oldschulplaya I think you are talking about blue belle based on the turn later comment. I never tried that belle but I don’t think I would ever fully cut Mickey(I have considered going to 3). The games you don’t see tipo or Mickey are harder games to win for sure. Could be an interesting idea just so worried about brawl and even 3 cost Sisu with ice block that I think it would be a little harder to justify the slot for Belle. If you do try it I’d love to hear how it worked for you though.
@@jayroberts2782 just trying to find early ramp into a bomb like dragon mim or genie specifically because of the 5 attack it makes them harder to remove, then after they have dealt with that your timing on playing Mufasa is super important.
So a very good local player was playing with this yesterday and I think it may be better than I thought. A lot of times we need to find that 1 of in the deck to help stabilize the match. I have seen it played with let it go, and while in a pinch it could be good but Id rather just play a hades at that point. So in short I would say I am undecided on that card at the moment, needs more testing.
@@freedomgaming4392 I'm a bit annoyed hide away is not a song, then you have removal for all threats while on the shift. I have not tried Hades yet, I'll have to proxy some in.
@@DrDrosLab So I played Anna in earlier versions of the deck and in that specific scenario you mentioned she’s insane. I just found myself in more instances when I didn’t have a board and played her and she felt so bad, where Ursula and genie still don’t feel bad to play on an empty board. Hopefully this makes sense but I did try her for a while.
