@@jaywerner8415 He wanted to spread the smoke as wide as possible for Flamu, which I would understand honestly. Tough to focus on as many thing in that situation
@@cheungjackjackt02006 I mean he did a good job with the smoke screen, but if you want it to be as wide as possible POUR ON THE COAL and keep going full speed. Just seemed odd that he suddenly stopped then got torpedoed. Cus you can hear the "beep beep beep beep" of the torpedo incoming.
@@jaywerner8415 hindsight 20/20 He's in the thick of a battle, he made a judgment call, and it might not be perfect. That's it. Just move on. No need to be over-judgemental.
Scharnhorst '43 is inherently overpowered. It retains too many necessary attributes to make meaningful impact on match result. Improved secondary accuracy, the most accurate guns in the game, speed boost, fighter to deal with those pesky CVs, and yet still retains an armored platform. I wouldn’t take 1 Conqueror..Thunderer or 1 DM or even 1 of just about any CA over 2 Scharnhorst '43s on my team any day of the week. Now... If WG gave it the specialized repair party of the Vincent ( and 1 more base charge).... And maybe a few more million HP, then they would confirm our suspicions that German bias is real
Scharnhorst OG isn't really powercrept by the new one though. Main battery still reloads faster, and if you know when to switch shell types, you'll rack up damage much quicker than with the new one. As a pure brawler though, '43 kinda has the edge just because the secondaries reload quicker, but I've beaten many of them up close with the original just because of the main battery, so make of that what you will.
I like how your Div mate was like "He's really bad, he only averages 11K". He probably only averages that much because unlike your bud, he actually has a pair and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. It is a free to play game, not everyone plays WoWS like they'll get scouted for eSports. I'd be happy to maintain a consistent average, and I only play WoWS like 3 times a month max. Oh wait, it is Maltese.
That Mutsuki player proves that, even in this bottomless chasm we find ourselves in the year 2024 with WoWs, there is still hope for the player base. Just a fools hope. Brings a tear to my eye 🥲
Poor Mutsuki thought he was the standard GER potato after he continued the dive following 2 get backs, and then charged with the smoke anyways. He dropped this 👑
'43 has faster reloading secondaries and torps. However, you sacrifice some accuracy and reload on the main guns, so it really just boils down to which you want more of. I honestly prefer the OG one over the '43 but both are excellent, esp at their tiers.
Youre not missing much. I have both and honestly I still prefer the OG Sharn. More accurate guns with faster reload. the difference in their secondaries isn't that big.
Its not really better. Its more of a sidegrade. The secondaries are slightly better at the cost of some accuracy and reload on the main guns. Speed boost is nice when you can use it, but ship is already pretty speedy. I have both and honestly I still play OG Sharn more than '43 because of the better guns, but both are great ships.
@@AdamtheRed- slightly better secondaries. And actually shiptool has OG Sharn at slightly higher DPM on them despite that. with the '43 you lose main gun reload and some accuracy for those slightly better secondaries. The 20 sec faster reloading torps, assuming you can make good use of them, is the only real argument for the '43. But in my experience owning both ships, OG Sharn is just more consistent, thanks to its basically similar secondaries and more accurate faster reloading guns.
Ah yes the Gneisenau. I grinded that line when it debuted, was so excited to finally get out of the Bayren and into the Gnau. I did 7 matches in it then immediately went and bought the Sharnhorst. No thank you.
There is nothing OP about either scharn lol. Most overused term in history. Its very strong in certain situations, in the right hands, but hardly OP. Can a day 1 noob get in it and hard-carry a team with little to no effort, because the ship is that inherently broken? Or does it take some level of skill and awareness to get the most out it?
Just like the OG Sharn, Tirpitz and every other forgiving "brawling" BB in the game lol. Overconfident, Rushes in, get crossfired from here to Shanghai while being everyone's favorite torpedo pinata. Get killed in
