A lot has happened at the Schilthorn in 2023! On the construction sites for the new Schilthorn cable car 20XX, everything is a little different than on other construction sites - large dimensions and enormous forces are at work, like open-heart surgery. All the protagonists were challenged: Transporting materials with millimetre precision or working at dizzying heights while maintaining the utmost accuracy.
The employee "weather" was mostly favourable and so the construction schedule could be adhered to. But one thing is certain - working here is a great honour and unique!
We look forward to another year of construction in 2024 with great pride and confidence.
A big THANK YOU to everyone on and off the construction site, to our guests and visitors and, above all, to the locals!
