TKO5479 sent me this Everest Primus padlock because he wanted to see it picked open on camera. I still need to get it out of the padlock body for him, but here it is being picked open.
Hahah. My hands going to sleep happens so often when I'm making videos. When I'm just picking I take short breaks to stop it, but when making videos I try to push through it and the locks usually don't end up opening because I can't feel a darn thing. Guess I got lucky this time :)
Great video and sorry for you hand-problems. I think REDEYE Locksport did once a video about it. He put in the tip of an control key in the key way (or maybe just a piece of metal) to push the last pin down. Then he picked it. Cheers.
Haven't tried it on my Primus but on a Yale I just kerp pressure on the last pin as I very slowly rotate back and it will usually move before it locks, and you have control. I definitely need some of the tools you make for side pins for my Primus and Twins.
Here in brazil we have difficult to pick schlage, are a nightmare for some professional locksmith😂,i can't feel click on pins particularly in digital locks,i think i can not control the tension wrench very good..it is horrible take one hour to open the door, happened with me🥲
Use a tok tensioner and a bok tensioner, then use a pick and apply pressure on the control pin as you slowly turn the core back, it should click into place and then you can pull the core out. Can be tricky.
That's actually pretty close to what I tried a couple of times. The sidebar seems to lock back up before the control pin is free to push up. Great thought with the two tension tools though. I will give it one more try.
Well done, nice work.. i've an idea about that control, what about drill quiet small hole from side of padlock to tensioning(pushing) the control sleeve with thin wire? ;-) let me know if You"ll try and if it works.. T.
This is a good idea... I think I might just give it a try. I wonder if that control pin will be free to retract though? If the control pin in the core is not at its sheer line? I don't have one of these outside the lock body so I can't test it. Worst case I could just drill down that pin I guess. Thanks for your thoughts :)
tumbl3r ... oh, i made a mistake, i imagine 2 or 3 pin control sleeve like assa lfic, schlage is different, today i'll check some different way/idea how could do that... (sorry for my grammary, eng. is not my birth lang, eng i wrote fom my cellphone, small display)
Hey bud, are you still willing to pick my Medeco 32S LFIC to control so that I can get it out of the housing? I'm sorry for the delay but I have been trying to get into it myself and I can't so let me know what you think and we will arrange something!
Sure... I will pick you Medeco out of its housing, but it might be a little while. I have a pretty long backlog of locks at this point. DO you mind if it takes me a little while?
tumbl3r No, I don't mind the wait. I'm very patient person so that is fine with me. Do you still have my email? If not, it is: drewestes2010@gmail.com so just let me know what you want to do please. thanks for the help bud!
