This is the calmest ive seen schlatt in a content that is outside of theweeklyslap, while still maintaining the same humor. Somewhat Relaxing and still just as entertaining.
Nah this is actually one of the most respectful RU-vidrs I’ve ever seen go to japan. I mean Schlatt is known for being Loud and yet I was so confused at the start when he was almost whispering.
Imagine being a rural Japanese person, just trying to get a drink on the way home from work and watching this 6'4" foreigner with mutton chops buy from 20-30 consecutive vending machines.
“ロバディック” is very calm in this episode. He has been relaxing in the hentai shops and has had fun breaking all the chinese keyboards he can. Very happy to see him as calm as he was in 1998
I was born in Japan and this is one of the few Japan travel videos I've seen that captures what being there feels like to me. Folks show me their travel photos full of nice, traditional hotels or big sashimi platters, but old vending machines next to dusty shops full of very specific merchandise is the real deal. The paper says "minor good fortune" and despite how it sounds, it's a step above regular "good fortune" c:
thats ALWAYS the thing about trips though!! I only ever take road trips specifically for this reason. Otherwise, you never get to see the not-so-glamorous side which is even more charming. I imagine this would be especially true in eastern countries, where a western boy like myself could be blown away by every single culture difference. I've only ever been to other states in the US, but one day I hope to take road trips in every country.
@@Slurp_Nation I hope you do too, that sounds awesome! If you ever get around to a road trip in Japan, the rest areas are a source of pride, haha. Last time I visited family there we stopped at Aqua Totto Gifu, it's a really nice public aquarium that's IN a rest area!
@@hard.g0re It's common for vending machines in Japan to have little chance games at the end where you can win an extra drink! I don't know how this one works (it's from before 1984, when the company changed its name from Daido to DyDo, so there aren't tons of guides online), but it looks like Schlagg didn't win. Side note: the "milk shake" isn't what most people think of as a milk shake, but a mix of milk, egg, and sugar, and is sometimes served warm! It's ミルクセーキ, while the "American style" drink is usually ミルクシェイク.
Hi shlatt!!! I live in Japan and yes I speak English but I’m glad you seemed to enjoy it! And your behavior was so respectful! We appreciate when tourists are kind and just enjoy our home! Have a great day! And thank you for coming to Japan hope u had fun!!!

This "Schlatt" guy better not "recreate" the "events" of 1999 in "Japan" Edit: We have received several reports that the incidents that occurred in 1945 may be connected to "Schlatt" as well. Watch your back "Schlatt". We're coming for you.

It's amazing how Schlatt can go to places so fast! Just a few hours ago, I saw him on the airport and I wanted to greet him, unforunately he was in a hurry and sweating carrying a human sized bag. He was muttering about going somewhere _"far"_ and _"remote"_ , aswell as _"finishing unfinished business"_ . It was almost as if he wanted to quickly escape the place! But he was probably super stressed from all the youtube stuff, hopefully you find someplace you can "relax" and _"blow off some steam"_ Schlatt. They- I mean, you deserve it!
Considering how wacky some vending machines are, and that Japan is the capital of vending machines, I'd say yeah there is a non zero percent chance Schlatt may have eaten cleaning supplies.
It's nice to see schlatt content where he isn't so aggressive, makes him seem more real. Maybe he's doing it to make everyone put their guard down before he attacks again, who knows.
I think the fortune slip at 02:02 says "minor fortune", which is a reference to Schlong's basement vault encased beneath the concrete. In terms of fortune telling, it is saying something along the lines of "yea you doing alright". Thank you Mr. Slots for sharing this with us
Fun fact! Japan actually does sell cigarettes from vending machines. Yeah, you just have to put in your ID before you do so it knows that you’re legal. And they’re usually outside of places like bars or shady alleyways
I was with my buddies in this small corner store that was run by an old japanese lady, and apparently she keeps the Couque D'asses right up at the front because it makes people see them and buy some just because of the funny name
When I lived in Japan, I was obsessed with the soda can vending machines. except instead of soda, you got cream corn in a soda can. Shit was incredible
I like to imagine he went to Japan specifically for discount tires and left after getting a good deal. All the vending machine were just a coincidence.
2:02 Hello I am translator. If I am seeing the paper correctly you got 小吉(shō-kichi). Which tbh its kind of a mid-tier luck. Its not too good yet its not bad... Good thing you tied it up there. Im too lazy to translate the rest.
@@Delm0s These おみくじ(omikuji) are often found in japanese shrines. Usually in shrines there are fences we tie them in. The reason we tie them is to get better luck next time. When somebody get mid-luck/unlucky they tie them on fences due to the belief that tying them will increase their luck.
I love how "Schlatt" just has the power to destabilise a country just by visiting it. Oh, and as a Brit speaking, Japan guard your leaders *very* carefully. It probably won't help since he managed to get into Buckingham Palace, but you can't take any chances.
Schlatt once again being a man of culture and visiting his rightful birthplace, being totally respectful and a glutton when it comes to food. Arigato, Schlatt. Gozaimasu.
honestly so good too see him doing these vlogs. Tiktoks farm views like nothing else but there's something so genuine about seeing him happy and outside, keep up the good content schlatt
@6:30 here in Nevada we DO have cigarette vending machines in the casinos, and they have no safety to prove you're an adult when you use it. Kids legit wait for no one to be looking and use em.
