Whether the goal is to live off the grid or limit demand from the utility, XW Pro offers a robust solar with storage solution that allows the exceptional installer to design around the needs of the customer. In this presentation, Schneider Electric covers single vs. multi-unit systems, system sizing, commissioning, and monitoring.
Note: This session was recorded live on Monday, January 24, 2022 during the 11th annual altE Virtual Solar Conference. Thank you for the video and review of the XW Pro. Re: 8msec transfer time, will that work in the case of sudden grid failure as well as brownout conditions? What is the conversion efficiency of the XW Pro? Do you have a directory (categorized by state/region) for installers / resellers that work with the XW Pro product line?

Great presentation, thank you! I have a few questions, please: Can you connect three of these for three-phase setup (European version)? Will the three-phase setup still work with 48V LiFePo4 batteries? Is the battery voltage customizable, for example to charge up to a higher voltage, like 54 or 58V?

Can I connect the grid wired to AC2 input intended to generator? This is because I want to use grid as a backup

Do you mean just for battery charging? This would be one of my questions as well. Can I use AC2 to charge the batteries is the solar input is too low? I live in Calif, under MEM-2, and would like to charge the batteries from the grid if necessary, but not run power back to the grid, which would be in violation of my MEM-2 agreement. I am looking at this inverter for an off-grid power system for my Agriculture Water Pumping system. Motor starts are high amperage, and the XW-Pro is, so far, my first choice. Charging the battery, if necessary, from the grid, using AC2, would be a massive plus.

@michaelclark2704 exactly, I want to be 100% sure zero goes back to the grid and I only use the grid if solar is not enough and my battery backup runs low.

all systems are going samller, you guys are going big and bulky. and more expensive..

Smaller isnt always better. Try starting big inductive loads with the smaller, cuter, all in one inverters. The Schneider system is also more modular/customizable since everything is not built into one box. If one piece of a Schneider goes bad, you replace it. If something goes bad in an all in one, you have to replace the entire thing.

Many systems are going smaller and grid/internet dependent. Grid dependent is not what anyone with some foresight is looking for in a home power system.
